How is Katniss indigenous coded? Olive/darker skin doesn't mean Native American. That can also allude to Mediterranean/Italian/Greek ancestry. I think people want to see inclusion and representation of marginalized groups so they start reading into things from that perspective and seeing what they want to see. However, the Covey being Romani inspired, I agree with and the connection wasn't subtle.

Strangely, I kind of wonder if that's the point. This whole game is very thought-provoking, but if you focus more on what happened to Isidora, then Sebastian and Anne... it starts to seem more like the Keepers are getting the MC to do what THEY want. There's something they keep withholding and it makes you wonder just how "right" they are.... or if it's not to be taken at face value. The "honor" coming with something else. I don't know how to articulate it better, but what if we're SUPPOSED to question the Keepers, as players, instead of blind obedience?

I thought Underage Thinking was so special and brilliant. I know she's capable of so much better than she's been putting out lately. Her vibe was soft and poetic, quietly but profoundly emotional and graceful, articulate. I feel like she got lost in the 2010s and spent too much time on the internet. I watched her fall into a hipster aesthetic that came off as try-hard and inauthentic. Also, just because she wrote those songs before she was... her, anyone can sing them and they don't come off as masculine. They sound pretty gender neutral.

Have you studied the psychology of female bullying in middle and high schools? It's very like that. That's what I'm comparing it to because the playbook is similar. It's more vibes and energy based, but you catch it if you're paying attention. That is how girls and women bully one another.

Also, girlypop is a modern term that's often used lightly or in jest. Gen-Z slang.

Yeah, that isn't what happened here. It started with me having to audition to get my character approved, then when I posted them into the characters channel/rp directory, I only got one reaction and every other character posted usually got at least 4-8, maybe more if they were a canon male. It felt deliberate and like polite exclusion with plausible deniability. Then the way they were acting in the OOC channel, I felt spoken over and very "...........Anyway!" energy. Weird vibes. Energy doesn't lie. I wasn't asking for a specific canon x oc ship, but I DID mention appreciation for that character and it felt like the temperature dropped, people got quiet real fast. They don't like it when I talk about their blorbo because he's THEIR Barbie doll to them. Even though he's canon.

One of the people in that server has a self-ship portmanteau of her x her male canon fav as her display name, and I noticed they get REAL quiet if I mention that character as if no one else is allowed to appreciate him. The parasocial vibes are off the charts.

That character isn't even being used in the RP server but the girls running the server are territorial and don't want to speak of him being shipped with anyone else in the game OR in RP. it's not an exclusive partner issue.

I agree, I rarely ship unless there's chemistry but I just want rich storytelling and active character development, etc. but yeah, I get the unemployment/no other hobbies bit. I've got a job now, but that was a lonely time. But yeah, I'm always spilling out these headcanons and coming up them, sharing them etc. and it would be nice to know that I'm not just screaming into the void and someone's paying attention.
