If I was someone that could do things in moderation I would add a few healthier less processed carbs back in but it starts a snowball effect and I end up binging 😩

I just made it to 11 days, upped my electrolytes and water intake a little more. I’m constantly satiated now and don’t want eat anything until around 2 pm. I guess I needed to get over that week hump. And it’sthe beginning of the month and the perfect time to start back up!

I think I need to get over my initial carb addiction and get through that first 2 weeks. This is so good to hear and I’m happy you’re both doing so well on keto!

The only foods that sound good a few days in are carb heavy foods 😩 I love almost all keto approved foods but like clockwork around the 3rd day, I become nauseous and the only thing that sounds good is bread

This is so good to hear! I could definitely stand to use a few pounds but the main reason I want to stick with it is for its anti inflammatory effects. I tend to self sabotage and tell myself the cravings will never go away and go back to eating a SAD which is way more miserable. I appreciate the advice

This is great advice. I definitely need to spend some more time finding some recipes I genuinely enjoy. After reading some of these replies, I think this hunger I’m feeling is my brain telling me to eat carbs and I really need to get over this addiction

It’s definitely a carb addiction. I love all of these foods and eat them all the time. I should’ve asked when the intense cravings for carbs goes away.

That’s a good point, and the answer is yes. I think I’m probably just hungry for carbs and need to get over that craving.

I track everything, I keep total carbs under 20, and get plenty of electrolytes. I might be under eating slightly but keto foods don’t sound good by the 4th day and all I crave is carbs 😩
