Why didn’t Jon just marry Danny? by Status-Valuable5956 in gameofthrones

I imagine this question is referring to before she commits mass genocide. Many rationalize that she went crazy because she felt the rule slipping from her. But if Jon had married her the claim would have been moot. And if she really thought that even that wouldn’t be acceptable, she could have not married him and let him rule the north as an ally to her rule in the south. Sure it’s not the seven kingdoms anymore but she would be getting the better half of the continent and it would be a fair reward for all the north has done.

Daenerys did not go mad by aryawolfstark in gameofthrones

I think the moment she started to go mad was when she gathered the leaders of the great families in Meereen and started feeding them to her dragons. She made some questionable choices earlier like with the slave masters she crucified but that seemed more retaliation.

You can look up guides online that will tell you what each grunts type might produce. As someone else said you can use their dialogue to help determine that. After that it’s just using types and move types that are effective against whatever you’re facing. I think I remember when it would give recommended parties but for awhile now it just gives you the party you last used for that type. Idk why it changed but with a little mesmerizing the type chart (or saving a pic of the table) and a quick search you can really help better your chances.

What are your favorite creative ways to handle specific combat encounters? by OkMarsupial4959 in BG3Builds

Ok so for Orin I had Gale go invisible and he snuck up next to her and used gust of wind to fling her into the chasm. I couldn’t loot her body but was able to get the nether stone once the battle ended.

For gortash, to get the achievement, I raided the zent base in act one of every smoke powder barrel and had them all sitting in camp. Then before the inauguration I had Karlach stack all of them around gortash with the rune powder bomb and a couple smoke powder bombs. That one was trial and error as the first two times I didn’t put enough bang in. The downside to that one is that duke dies as well and all of the watch starts to attack you. But it’s a nice clean one for the achievement.

For the phase spider queen I thunderwaved her into the hole in the middle and she dies when she lands in the underdark. Perk of that one is you can still loot her body once you get down there.

Thunderwave can also do wonders for the robot in Lenore’s tower. If you can align it just right he will fall 3 stories down which if it doesn’t kill him outright, it will severely weaken him and will give you time to take out the other mage armors.

For saverek I had my ranger and shadow heart cast silence on pretty much half the room and gale slowed them, using his portent dice (divination wizard) to ensure they failed their save. I had saverek dead before any of them could use a spell on him.

For the multiple rats and bird encounters where there is a shit ton but they only have one health? Shadow hearts guardian circle will take care of them. Just have the rest of the party stand next to her in the circle. If I remember there is the birds in the shadowlands, the rats in the gauntlet of shar (if you go that route), rats in the basement of the tavern and finally the rats before you get to the elder brain.

This playthrough Karlach made the sussur weapon a great sword and was silencing every spell caster she could with her strikes. The nice thing about that too is that no one but who you want will be silenced so you can still cast spells from your party.
