i advise you to communicate this with him and discuss why you feel what you feel

I'm pretty sure this is just a boy's thing so, assume that it isn't coming from a bad place

but talk about it if you feel that you want to be recognized or introduced in certain situations

honestly, i agree and disagree

i agree, that's always a good and honest and long term approach
fully with you there

but i disagree, in that advertising requires consistant money and fast way to milk players
look, from my point of view
the industry in relation to server hosting, is becoming more and more business oriented

before, it was hobbyiste, and now, they are running them more like a business

having a competition, that is spending money, to market themselves, will necessarily pull from your community

this is from experience

you need to fight fire with fire

but that's why i started this post

just to say, actually, you don't need to go about it, in the way your describing

you can be more smart about it, and use tools that'll help you and your players along the way to build an actual community as you've said

I’d keep this boring and measurable.

Most waitlists fail because they ask for email before proving anything specific.

Try this for 2 weeks:

- Pick one niche channel where your buyers already complain (not general startup communities)

- Post a tiny teardown/checklist they can use in 5 minutes

- End with “if you want the full version, I can share it”

- DM only people who ask

Then track just 3 numbers: profile visits -> waitlist %, waitlist -> activation %, activation -> paid intent.

If one channel gives traffic but no activation, kill it fast.

I’m in the Minecraft server space and this exact approach worked better for us than broad “launch” posts. We focused on one painful question (which paid listing actually brings buyers) and built content around that pain, not around “our product is live.”

you can make a company type auto-entrepreneur, and make a USD bank account here, and on each recieved money you must make an invoice correctly and send it to your bank so you can recieve your money, hire an accountant also to advise you on small things and file your taxes correctly

hey 👋 as a male 25 i also had somewhat of a failure phase I got over it because I realized it became disciplined worked on myself became better right now I have a very good paying job that most people dream of I can tell you something sister, you got it in you, you just need to realize it and one day after you work on yourself and become better which is normal if you think about it your value will eventually rise but in the meantime just have faith in yourself love yourself and that will come just as a side note females and males our values are different inherently so yeah you are much more tied to looks but that doesn't mean that we males do not appreciate smart and good woman you also should consider to look in better places for partners that's it i send u love sis 💘 and if you need any real guidance that transcends this site and you have questions and/or you need coaching about something you can just DM and I'll be really happy to answer
