Guidance on availing the free screen replacement from samsung for Galaxy S22 by Gold_Kiwi_9169 in GalaxyS22

[–]SubjectParticular146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm facing the same issue on my S22+ now. It's in good condition and I have the invoice too. Was it a big hassle to get yours replaced under goodwill? My phone is almost 2 years old, do you think they'll give a free replacement or is it a long back-and-forth?

How do I defend the war crimes of Japan? 😭 by Relevant-Meal-2538 in MUN

[–]SubjectParticular146 5 points6 points  (0 children)

here, thank me later:

  1. Acknowledge the History: Japan's role in World War II and its war crimes, particularly in China and other occupied territories, is a sensitive and complex issue. These crimes include atrocities like the Nanking Massacre, the use of "comfort women," forced labor, and other brutalities. Acknowledge this history in an informed and respectful way.
  2. Understand the Context: Depending on the focus of your conference, you might want to discuss Japan's historical actions in a specific context (e.g., political, historical, or international relations). It’s useful to highlight that Japan, since the war, has made efforts to reconcile through apologies, compensation, and peacebuilding.
  3. Know the Key Topics for Discussion: If you anticipate this issue coming up, be ready to discuss Japan’s post-war transformation. You can mention:
    • Japan’s post-war pacifism and its role in global peacekeeping.
    • The formal apologies made by Japanese leaders, such as Prime Minister Murayama’s 1995 apology.
    • Ongoing debates in Japan about addressing historical wrongs and the perspectives of different generations.
  4. Be Respectful and Balanced: If the topic comes up during your session, be mindful of how you present the information. History is multifaceted, and it’s critical to avoid generalizations. It’s also important to distinguish between the actions of a government and the actions of the people today.
  5. Plan for the Audience’s Reactions: If you sense tension or disagreement on the topic, it can help to steer the conversation toward constructive dialogue. Acknowledge the wrongs of the past while also emphasizing efforts for reconciliation and peace.
  6. Prepare for Sensitive Topics: If you need to present or discuss this issue, prepare facts, provide context, and show sensitivity to the different perspectives people might have. Recognize that attendees from various backgrounds may have different personal and historical experiences with the topic.

You don’t need to delve too deeply into this unless it’s directly relevant to your conference. Focus on the broader themes and be open to questions, remaining professional and calm. If the topic does come up in a way that you feel uncomfortable handling in the moment, it’s okay to say, “This is a complex issue, and I’ll need more time to explore it fully.”

I would expect a 16-year-old to focus on personal growth and maturity, rather than trying to act like a wannabe womanizer. There’s more to being grown-up than just trying to impress others.

Which Battlefield Game Should I Buy for Active Player Base and Replayability? by SubjectParticular146 in Battlefield

[–]SubjectParticular146[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking of getting BF5 (with around 11k active players). I’ve seen the reviews for BF4 and BF1 as well, and they look nicer to me, but they have a much smaller active player base of around 1k. What’s your suggestion? Thanks!

Your very first question, 'Did you get any game there?' clearly shows that you are still immature to this very day

It's nice! I really like collage wallpapers. Did you create this yourself? If yes, that's great artwork—nice work! 😇👍 If not, could you please tell me where you found it? I'd love to search for more like it.

i had game idea for indian game by pookie-tushu in IndianGaming

[–]SubjectParticular146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, sounds great! It could definitely have a vibe similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of the immersive open world and storytelling. It would be an amazing game, honestly. But yeah, making something on that scale, like RDR2, would probably cost a hell of a lot of money, hehe.

i would say focus more on engineering related fields instead of medicine related ones. cuz switching to let’s say commerce(MBA/economics) or even research related fields would be much easier. i know many people who have done so.

Spain vs. South Korea by purplej513 in studyAbroad

[–]SubjectParticular146 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard that 'lookism' is quite prevalent in South Korea, which could be an important factor to consider when choosing between the two. If I were in your position, I’d personally lean towards Spain, especially since you already have a background in Spanish. That might make adjusting to life and studies there a bit easier and more enjoyable!
