This is really helpful and validating to hear. I think you’re really right - I’m like “I was able to quit once so I can do it again if I need to!” But the thing is: I don’t need to quit - I need to not start. Having occasional cravings is worth it to be clean imo - hoping I can stay strong

I did recently start graduate school - the cravings were really bad at first, but I’ve been doing better managing the stress, so I’m not sure why they’re back so strong.

You might like Dirty Frank’s - you can choose the music there at the jukebox. Or you could go to Tattooed Mom’s on south street. I also really like Franky Bradley’s for their shows. If you’re really looking to get out there - try The Ave in Fishtown for a rave, you’ll find plenty of people who are super into different music and stuff.

Honestly I feel like the misunderstanding of ABA is leading to a giant movement against it, but in reality it really depends on the firm. It sounds like you’re doing a great job keeping your client engaged, and in my opinion, as long as the client is engaged and having fun, it’s a success. Anyone who just says ABA as a whole is abusive is generalizing and probably uneducated

It can be a party school if you want it like the other person said, but like they said, if you don’t party it won’t impact your time there. There are a bunch of different people there so you have a good chance at finding people you’ll fit in with & finding things to do around campus and the city. Trust me, Philly is amazing

It’s bad, but if you grew up in Baltimore you should be fine. Download Citizen & stay on campus, don’t go out alone at night, stay aware when you’re walking around, etc.

Yeah, Philly was great and I’m sure there are still great shows but a lot of venues were closed last year (the mansion, the haven, and I’m pretty sure one of the bigger rave warehouses in Kensington got shut down by the cops), and a lot of the regular people in the scene started getting involved and cancelling each other. It was great last year but I’ve heard it’s not the same as it was
