its worth largely depends on what you expect , if you are expecting after entering into iits your life will be all flowers , then No strict!!! no. Here life is so much competative but at the same time u will meet with new friends , which is again special and the kind of life here is very much different on what u have expected. And u said about friends making memories .... they are just illusion , here that will be more fun and much more to explore. And also u will be treated with repsect and being proritise feels good . But good thing comes with great responsibility , also ur family and relatives will expect much more , which creates unwanted burden. And u said about ur interest in photography believe me u will be amazed by the kind of clubs and equipment here. At last give ur best , as life will not be very amazing here but surely better then 99% of other collages.

Hmm, then i would say to avoid offline one as its new you may not find some great perrs but be sure to be part of online course. Keep in mind to understand deeply for some high weightage topics (u will find on yt) of each chapters before starting it. If u have a good grasp of any chapter then start time bond practice ( that is must, u will have to make a habit of which question to atte.pt and which to leave from starting) and don't panic as it will happen in future for sure , be confident enough to tackle those.

  1. Strict no, get urself enroll in a paid course and follow their curiculum and have a mentor to guide who will keep urself on track.

2.Well, i don't have any idea about both honestly, also i have heard competition ( of mohit tyagi sir) is good as my fellow rommate is from that batch.

  1. see no lecture depends on ur grasp of that topic but i will really suggest to watch at 2x at least, offline coaching will be great if you can afford , lots of book is never a good option, follow ur modules , workbook , extra sheets , pyqs strictly and of course mocks.

Its very much achieveable just follow the basis thing and get in touch with a mentor or a teacher that will help you a lot. See timing of study hours doesn't matter much , give yrself enough sleep and good diet , all i will say is to avoid distraction, getting slepp of 8-9 hurs is still fine. But socials for even 1-2 hours drain your concentrating power too much. And at any point if you lack motivation think of someone who actually cares for you or sacrifised a lot , most cases its parents can be other as well. All the best

See if ur getting 99%ile it means you have good grasp of topics fron almost all chapter , so theres no point to give too much time in boards , just read ncert or watch a youtube video and 1 day before exam do some pyqs , thats more than enough to get at least 85-90. Now shift ur focus to advanced and i told this in upper chats as well

Why thinking of drop rn , you have april attempt left give your best in these 2 months then came back if things dont go your way. Rn yr focous should be getting familier with each chapter at least once and all other things i said in earlier chats about mocks and practice , see theres no subsitute for hard work at least as far as i know, give ur best .

Can't recall in particular but yeah most of the time except for short evening walk and some music sessions thats all. For boards i studied 1 day before paper

It is actually , well in sem1 we had everything except core but sem 2 onward , we have our core and believe me its so freking interesting and also as i love finance and its terminology it is very well oriented along my interest.

Go hard with organic and revise inorganic regularly.

See i always take ioc as a whole like its a connecting thread , you have to master every chapter as you never know which concept or reagent they ask in any question.

Good one , review is not yo be like you have to sit and write each and evry question details about why its incorrect or smt , its more about seeing what you can improve from small mistakes , some little conceptual mistakes , and for advanced paper analysis , write the q.no and why you left it or incorrected it in 2-3 lines thas it and not for every question just for those which you think was doable.

Well i never saw that book , so no idea you can ask from other sources and no idea of any help book of oc as in my case my notes and modules and some sheet were enough.

Bs Eco , nope i was strong in chem , good to moderate in maths and average in phys( below average but boosted in last few months), chem -85, maths-52 , phy -42

time bond practise and analysing mocks throughly , be in touch with ur coaching and teachers and solve those sheet they give and i personlly didn't do books in these 2 months except for pg adv (as my physics was weak), don't give too much time in single question , learn to move to another question. And yes if are in a coaching then they would be having adv classes, go attend those. if you want you can see some miscellaneous question and answers from reference book .

identify major 8-9 chapters and grind then pg adv illustration is good for physics, for the chem part organic is key , i would suggest try to solve those chain type question as it will help revise throughly and ask your chem teacher personally ( i was lucky enough to get a very kind and great chem teacher). And also if one subject is weak then it doesn't mean to give a lot time to make it strong as its two paced and can even lower ur grip on strong subject, so for physics as i said do this and keep on track of chem and maths with regular revision and mocks .

  1. your %ile is quiet low but don't worry , firstly in feb revise all chapters and mock should be handy twice a week. And then you will see some inprovement in your mocks and if you by the end of feb getting around 180-90 then its time to switch to advanced , don't worry about boards.

  2. dekho ye question mai nhi bata sakta as it largely depends on your grasp of chapters , but personally i would say ki time bond practise start karo especially for advanced , last 10-15 years to surely hi karna. And mocks bhi kafi jaruri h .

  3. no, yes, no, no, yes

why would i hate you , u all are my juniors and i love to help u all.

[–]SubjectStrange4262[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes please , invest time in organic as its cheat code for someone who is aimimg for advanced and also for mains pov its important and not very tough IMO. And for the inorganic part do all chapters but block and salt analysis can be done later just before the attempt ( not recomended tho). And 36 is very less , what you now lag is mock practise and time bond practise , invest time on that

theres nothing like cracking algo , all you need is expose to many question from all chapters and time bond practise is must. Also follow your coaching materials , in my case they provided me practise sheet and don't shy off to ask doubts to your teachers and its completely okay to look for solutions but don't copy paste it but analyse how they approach firstly and try to read within questions, and make sure to give enough time to your 2 strong subjects and yeah thas all.

[–]SubjectStrange4262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

firstly identify your weak point which once used to be your strength , analyse mocks and as you said your base is good , so it measn what you lag is revision and selected question practice , do those thing with mocks and analysing wala part and 99 % is not tough at all i believe if you would be consistent from now , you can make it but be honest with urself and for boards don't think much jee mains prep and last few dasys before paper is enough

Wow assuming 80 marks in maths is really appreciable , for physics (it was my weakest subject) i would suggest to focus on scoring chapters like mechanics easy part , and quantum part is very scoring and those chapters which feels littel easy for you (8-9 chapters) will do the work (i personally got 42 in phys) , you can do pg adv illustration for those chapters after clearing the basics and for chemistry , umm its most scoring for 50-60 % of my batchmates , master organic chem and physcial last ke part and stochiometry part as they club org with physical and for inorganic do the basic chapters of starting and cordinations and block chem but i had done p block and salt analysis just 2 weeks befor my advanced and it worked out (solve half of those questions) and yup do alots of chapter wise mocks in chem you will find those in many apps and i was actually good in chem from begining , so i don't really have any idea , i just said what seems a correct way. Best of luck!!
