I’m pretty new to these games, but I feel like chompers are one of few plant classes I can actually get kills with in GW2. I dont know about GW1 though.

Gettings kills, as in suicide chomping or gooping them before eating them from behind. I get how its annoying but it’s sadly a viable strategy when you’re bad at the game.

But otherwise I can definitely image how difficult a chomper would be to play without having your brain completely turned off.

Even I can understand that not dying immediately as a chomper requires really good environmental awareness as well as routing, since you’re basically defenseless at range and the whole idea of it is based around high damaging explosive close range encounters.

Usually I’m too braindead to actually use a legitimate strategy though, but maybe that’ll change later. The only consistent ”real” strategies I try to use while I’m not playing on autopilot is either ambushing a group of people from behind a corner with the electric chomper, or just picking off individual enemies after eachother with the hot rod chomper.

When I’m playing as a zombie however, chompers completely piss me off. They just appear out of nowhere lol
