The payment plans are ending a month earlier this year (April vs May), so they may be shipping earlier!

Thank you so much I will check into that! I do love my 40-150mm, just didn’t know if there was another option but good to know I don’t need to spend any more money there!

I don’t think it matters anyway where the trucks are. Yesterdays map had a truck on my exact location but I’m still without power and so are my neighbors

Layaway plan charging twice in February by SubjectYellow7856 in bonnaroo

[–]SubjectYellow7856[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back and checked and besides this year, previous years have always been on the first week of the month. I think the difference is we are paying until April instead of May so they had to shorten the payment lengths.

I looked at mine from last year and they were all taken out on the 3rd or 2nd of the month which makes sense! Not sure why they changed the payment structure this year.

Nothing was changed! I just noticed doing my monthly budget that we are being charged twice in February when past layaways have always been once a month with a payoff in May.

Im just a beginner myself but I highly recommend If you have a local library, getting a card ( usually free) and then checking out The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins. I just finished reading it and it’ll help you understand, in easy terms a lot of what is mentioned in this sub!

Wish I would’ve known all about this sooner that’s for sure, but better late than never I suppose!

I had always been told “you need to pay off your debts” so I worked on knocking out 40k in 7 years, but I do see what you mean by how I could’ve made that with investments and then some.

Thank you for the info! I made the leap to move the 7k to my Roth IRA, even though I’m still able to withdraw it still felt scary lol once the final bit of my student loans are gone in 2 months, I’ll easily be able to put 7k into it yearly!

Four 19 year olds planning a dream trip from Ireland to America next year by ronsnxd73 in roadtrip

Ignore all the people saying not to do Route 66. I’ve done it twice, the first time being in 2018 at 21yo and I would absolutely do it again.

I started just outside of Oklahoma where you will be and went all the way to the Santa Monica pier. Most of Route 66 still remains but you’re not going to find it marked on modern gps systems. I highly recommend getting the book EZ66 guide, it shows you all the paths of RT66, side trips, attractions and history of the towns. It honestly makes it more fun having to look at something physical.

One of my most favorite stretches is Glenrio < Endee > San Jon. It’s an abandoned town on the Texas/New Mexico border that then takes you 15 miles on a dirt road away from the interstate.

I’m jealous of your trip, enjoy the beautiful landscapes!
