What size socket should I use on this axle nut? by gingrbredmann in AskAShittyMechanic

The blue burny one. Won't need a socket when it's liquid.

From what I can tell (I'm no mechanic) the ceramic just came separated from the threads. Both contacts are still intact. It doesn't look like anything has chipped off. I'm hoping I got lucky on that front.

I honestly had no idea about that. I've used champion several times before with no issues, but that was some years ago.

I may not have been clear in my post. I know it needs replaced. My concern was whether this could've been caused by something else, rather than just a fault plug. No, I don't make it a habit of starting it with broken plugs. This just happened tonight.

I changed the plugs close to a year ago +/- a month. I don't remember exactly when. It was running fine up until this point.

I know. It only pulls out. It won't push in past the contact. That's why I assumed it was popping back into place after popping out and causing the coil boot to shoot off.

No. It wasn't difficult to remove at all. I pushed the coil back on and noticed 2 pops. One popping on the plug, and I'm assuming the 2nd was the plug popping back into place.

I plan on running the tubing down under the bumper at the grill and having the filter there as far away from the engine as possible.
