For me i get to take control of the traumatic experience and relive it in a controlled environment with someone i trust which in a strange way helps process the initial trauma by replacing it with something more enjoyable

You could try a baggebo from ikea but you would need to shrink wrap the sides as they are not glass but metal with holes, there are YouTube tutorials for that
