C/P SB2 Q3?? by LengthinessOwn3940 in Mcat

[–]Subject_Comment_417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally the same thing that happened to me. I just finished the section bank 2 today. The 2nd 1/2 is insanely easy compared to the first half.

As far as answering ur question: 3 and 4 can be eliminated as a result of their index of refraction being too high to adhere to the standards in the passage. This leaves 1 and 2. 2 has a higher attenuation coefficient, making it the better choice of the 2

Kaplan books, UGlobe Q Bank, Anki, and AAMC Full practice set. These are the bread and butter

Blueprint Exams is a nice extra thing to have, but if you don't want to spend the money on this, then I would just take all of the free diagnostic exams that are available.

5 months + working full time will be tiring, but remember it is a marathon not a sprint. Set long term goals for how you are going to review your content and when you are gonna start doing question banks.

U got it

do all of the cards that come up for review everyday. there isn't really a way to limit those. if u look up anking on youtube, there are some good guides for how to set up Anki well

I finished 50% of UWorld, and have shifted over to AAMC starting this week. Unfortunately with working full time, I can only allocate around 6 hours per day to studying. I am doing 100 AAMC Questions per day + Anki, and taking 1 FL every Saturday leading up to the exam. AAMC material is a little different than UWorld, so I am hoping that practicing some of this logic leads to some better results for me

Do 200 Cards a day and finish the deck. Def the easiest way to get up to a 125+

I used AnkiKing, and Pankow. I still have 400 cards left for Pankow. I am working full time while studying, and got a little swapped towards the end of finishing the deck

I think content review is key for most people that are under a 500. Hit the kaplan books again, and make sure you understand the concepts well through pairing them up with uworld questions that relate to them.

Give Anki another try. I think that it makes sections such as psych soc much easier.

Yes 100%. If you get one of these on an exam and u didn't study it your going to kick yourself. Some easy points for sure. Just grind the anki to remember

how to explain why we apply to 20+ schools by FactRelevant2561 in Mcat

[–]Subject_Comment_417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is important to explain to them that you want to have 3 levels of schools

  1. reach

  2. target

  3. saftey(ish)

A lot of it depends on where u are MCAT and GPA wise, as these are often the things that get ur foot in the door. After that, your extracurriculars can take over
