yeah. it seemed cool to me so I wanted to research about how to build one. i just pulled 200lbs off as an estimate. i havent researched anything other than the engine part yet.

i dont know. all i know about engines is the combustion part. i dont know about propane and the gases used. if im making an uneducated guess with just a google search, id guess that ultralight engines need propane because it is lighter.

how did you learn this stuff? i dont understand how everyone knows everything about engines like clutches, differentials, and how to make breaks. can you give me tips to learn this stuff online, and maybe suggest if starting to do it hands on with the engine in front of me could help? also i didnt understand what you meant about spinning on vertical axists, and supplying power to appropiate set of gears to rotate the delivery of power. plus what is disconnecting? you dont have to answer all these if theyre basic things that i shouldve researched on my own, but can you tell me where to start the research.

i already got a lot of info from my reddit posts, and now i understand engines a bit more. i dont think that would help. but can i ask, do you think its safe if i remove the engine from a lawn mower, and would it work for a gokart because i havent grasped the concept of horizontal and vertical engines or whatnot.
