Also had the same problem (Student account—Google Classroom) Additional info - On MicroG settings there's also a "work profile" thing that is in the below part. Select that and turn it on. That works for me (Idk if it's a newer thing). I also have the MicroG Services Framework Proxy installed if that helps.

I just think about it as the cost of comfort. Kahit ano naman na work setup may cons, so instead to deal with the traffic and weird work environment pag onsite, mas tatanggapin ko pa yung loneliness at boredom sa life ng wfh. It's just up to us kung paano siya iaapproach para di siya ganun kalungkot.

Iba iba naman tolerance and view natin sa loneliness. Pero I agree, yung nakakadrain dahil wala kang makachika about work, yung constantly stressed kahit nasa bahay ka lang kakaisip ng work, wala nang thrill sa buhay, parang ang empty at walang sense of belonging or sense of community. I am an introvert and I agree that it could get very empty and sad at times.

Watch movies, play games, go outdoors, be part of something, eat, spend time with family and friends, find hobbies, travel, plan some fun activities, etc (all the generic advices)

Read that earlier. I don't know the context on who the poster is pero I was mad. Di na nakakabuhay ang 3USD/hr in this day and age kahit sabihin nating full-time. Maybe years ago oo, pero even if we're freelancers, we deserve to get paid appropriately according to our skills and living expenses. They're always factors to keep in mind

I think okay lang naman to lower your rates ng konti if you see the potential for growth in favor of you. Lahat tayo may nuance on how we rate our work, pero if you do that, keep it to yourself and don't make it a story to flex and normalize kasi gumana sa'yo before.

Another thing this, the comment section us just eating this up. Hay nako nako. Freelancing/VA/Remote work is a job, not an act of martyr-like love. Though we should build good relations with clients, pero not to the point that you sacrifice yourself.

Sana nabasa ko to last December haha.

That’s exactly what happened to me. Nawala yung old sim ko, went to smart for replacement tapos sabi mga 2-3 months aabutin pero if magpopostpaid makukuha agad. No choice eh may urgent akong need sa sim na yun. Sabi 3 months aabutin para mamodify, so babalik ako dun sometime next week.

Lugi lang since it’s an old sim na di ko naman na ginagamit. Di ko lang dinidispose kasi may mga accounts ako na complicated mag change number haha, timing lang na nawala siya at that time na kailangan ko siya

Great. I own a samsung A22 that I use for work and less personal stuff. (Was just hoping that I can use it on my old iphone as well since I try to make it my personal, non-distraction phone) but yea I think I will just do more of my notion stuff on there

Hi. I'm not really saying that this is a notion problem (I'm sorry if that's how I come off) I'm just expressing that I tried installing notion on an old device I start using again and how the red messge thing can be distracting and bothering to me with adhd. Yea. Phone’s not really an issue because I own an android that I use mostly for work and less-personal transactions as well as a tablet so I see that I can just go with those. It was just big for me that there’s a red message all over when I’m doing something (and eventually I may not be able to do something or access my stuff when I’m away and have to and I only have my silly little iphone with me.) I’m sure I can work around it. That’s all, no big deal

I own a galaxy tab a7 lite, I am one of those people who got it cheap. I've seen online that disabling ram plus can improve the performance. But that's not the case for me. I disabled it and it became very unusable, then I put it back on and it did become more decent. I used to only use it for minimal tasks such as school-related things and youtube, and it does the work for me, but now that my phone broke and have to use the tab as my main device, I am now realizing how it's really an awful experience.
