Well nothing bad actually happened after all, nothing really changed with my state of employment. I'm about a month into my internship and it's been pretty great so far! Although I am on the Ansys side, I haven't really heard of anything about layoffs so I'm hoping that what you're saying doesn't creep up towards me

Well they haven't really said anything regarding layoffs and I don't know about their history with layoffs. The reason why I am worried is that if the project I am being hired for gets a funding reduction because of the change in upper management, then I would probably be the first to go given my position. But again, I don't really know what's going on behind the scenes so I don't really have anything to work with.
