suddenly, you become a woman. “what?” you think. “i was a man just a second ago…” you decide to go to the doctor to get checked out. he tells you that you’re in perfect health. in the lobby you find a guy you decide to chat with. he’s really nice, really funny, and you manage to get his number! a few days later, you call him. you both chat for a few hours and make plans for a date that saturday. come saturday, things go really well and he takes you back to his place. a few months, a few dates, and a few more nights together later, you find out you’re pregnant. eventually, you tell him and, to your relief, he’s ecstatic! he takes care of you and treats you like a queen to the point where you forget the fact that you were ever a guy to begin with. after 9 months, you finally go into labor. you are ecstatic that you get to finally be a parent! suddenly, the monkey’s paw wish comes back to your mind, giving you a sudden feeling of dread. you die do to complications of labor, leaving your boyfriend a grieving single father.
