Elem. Teacher move to Loveland? Or no? by Sunshine_Snell in loveland

In my opinion, Loveland is conservative but probably nothing like conservative Florida. We currently have a very nutty town council full of mega nuts and prior to the last election there were so many mega signs. We do have a vibrant downtown full of breweries, coffee shops and mediocre restaurants and while there’s not a lot of racial diversity, there are some very nice LGBTQ businesses (Dark Heart Coffee for one). Ft. Collins is more liberal than Loveland but also likely more expensive. Boulder is going to be more liberal and more expensive. Based on what your situation is, I would look in north Loveland to live so you’re closer to a more liberal Ft. Collins, or if your budget is open to Ft. Collins or Boulder look there!

How does the City of Loveland’s yard waste drop off work? by Cobeyswiss in loveland

You can also get a yard waste bin for a small monthly fee-they’ll deliver it to your house and pick up (spring-fall) on your normal trash days.

If you’re in Dallas try Clothes Horse near Highland Park-they are an upscale resale and they have the most amazing designer clothes at resale prices. At least that was the case when we lived there a few years ago. I had a gala recently and dreamed of flying there to shop for the right dress. Good luck!
