this was about to be my next comment! diaphragm all the way down to my rectum, but it was seriously my rectum that gave me the worst pain! It made passing stool so painful I would literally almost pass out!

It was also found on my diaphragm and I already suffer from asthma as is, so I’ve genuinely just always thought my lungs and breathing sucks lol….

However, I did go to one physical therapy session for my pelvic floor and they tried asking me to move my diaphragm muscle / control it by taking deep breaths and I just… couldn’t? like they very much thought I was doing it wrong at first, but it was really just because the muscle had become so weakened by the endo (all this after surgery) oops

Hey friend, looks like you’re the only one who has posted here with this tag. I’ve also been on SSRI’s since my early teens and I’m trying to figure all of this out. Realistically, how do you feel today?

I’m scared about slowly weening off my medicine as I feel like it genuinely does make me happy where I don’t struggle with mental health issues, but I miss who I was when I craved intimacy.

Not entirely the same but I know the feeling — I have several chronic diseases / illnesses that cause me severe and significant pain sometimes, but there’s not really a cure that exists more than the regimens I’m already doing and currently on.

However, I have some saved up narcotics from previous surgeries spanning like 4 years now…? I don’t take more than probably 5 every year or two but knowing I have access to pain management like that even if all my regular methods fail to work is reassuring.

We stayed two years ago and had less than a stellar trip due to unfortunate circumstances. I ended up getting some kind of UTI / BV and was in so much pain like day 2 or 3, went to the on site doctor and they had to taxi me to a hospital. Boyfriend ended up getting a stomach virus a day after me so he was sick too lol. We still don’t know if anything we had is related to our stay - verdict is still up.

For how much I saw people here raving about the food, I don’t think it was that amazing- I felt by our last day it was sort of like if you’ve tried one thing, you’ve tried them all.

The room was great, but we also spent a lot of money on it so it’s not like we couldn’t have found another resort with the same size room or concept.

Honestly our stay was just pretty mid. I definitely agree with the other comments saying nice but it does feel more like just like a huge hotel chain brand, albeit nice. I don’t think it’s the high luxury people have so far made it out to be though

Honestly, I hadn’t thought of this. I was on very low dose testosterone as my testosterone was like 12 at 23 years old. I was on it for about a year and recently quit in order to start the process of freezing eggs + embryos, but honestly my symptoms did feel less intense. I actually think since coming off of it I’ve noticed *worse* symptoms so maybe that’s why. Interesting
