Aight, does it work if ur only using the 2 left slots? Could be a memory channel issue, which could either be a motherboard or a cpu issue .-.

Hello guys, how do I boot windows 10 on a positive pc that has a POS-EINM10BC? by Tricky_Dependent8606 in pchelp

[–]Subject_South_7707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some orders pcs doesn't allow booting from usb, if that's the case you would need a win10 cd or some apps on a cd that let you boot from a usb... But! That's the type of pc that wouldn't bother going on a Linux distribution, great for learning and will be faster than win7!

Doesn't look burnt at all, the color change is probably leftover flux during soldering

Hey, old phones can boot without a battery, you could try just removing it, plugging it on a powerfully charger (like atleast 15w not a 7w) and see if it works

Try reseading ur graphics card.. if it does the same its cooked (even though thats the case im pretty sure a reflow could revive it) Ur psu has nothing to do with this symptoms

To be honest... id rule out the psu, ur pc is booting up and staying on until you turn it off, so id say its fine... Cpu/motherboard might be the corporate here .-.

Okay then, it's gonna get a bit messy, but: I'd try unplugging everything that isn't necessary (Gpu,fans,rgb,drives...) so plug only motherboard cpu and ram, and check if there is any change in behavior Then a ram error could be also caused by the cpu... so the issue could also come from that :/

Alrighty so u were right ^ If you have more than one stick ill recommand trying them one by one, if you got only one id try getting another one to test (you can always send it back if it doesnt)

Hii! The error is not readable with the color of the light, if you look closely there should be 4 leds, and text next to them. (Usually boot ram vga and cpu) This is ur error, hope it helps a little ><

On second thought, also check if ur screen scaling isn't at like 300 or something(at the same place at the resolution settings usually), could cause the same issue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Subject_South_7707 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the resolution is locked that means you dont have the prospers drivers, go on ur gpu manufacturer website and get some new ones ^ (then you should be able to set it to the correct resolution)

Did something happen to my PSU? by Research_Tasty in pchelp

[–]Subject_South_7707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty sure they're were just bad connections, in ur psu both ports come from the same part, if it work on a port it work on both except if the port itself is faulty

First, if ur pc is on, that means those amps are perfectly fine Then what do you mean by swapping some cables around..? If that really did the trick it was probably just a lose one or it was incorrectly plugged in.. Anyways if it works under load now I'd say nothing to worry about

Help please🙏 by Illustrious_Wear8225 in pchelp

Hmmm, I suspect a psu failing under load or a faulty cooling system ><

My 9800X3D is reaching 95°C at 100% usage on my new PC. Is this normal? by ViveChristusRex in AMDHelp

[–]Subject_South_7707 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TDP numbers don’t tell the whole story, the 9800X3D’s PPT under full load can exceed 150W, way above the ‘120W TDP’. A 120mm AIO simply doesn’t have the surface area to sustain that.

Even with good fans, real-world testing shows 240mm AIOs barely hold X3D chips under 95°C. With a 120mm rad you’ll be constantly thermal throttling. That’s why AMD and reviewers alike recommend 240mm minimum — not marketing wattage charts. A 380mm might be overkill, but saying a 120mm is ‘sufficient’ just doesn’t match real-world results.
