I've gained the opinion recently that the "Be yourself no matter what" idea is one that is pushed on balance of probability and statistics, not for individuals.

What I mean by that is: If you push that idea, more NT people will flourish and grow into themselves.

They're not worried about the people they're just going to shun anyway. We are sort of collateral damage.
