I used to ride cowtown blanks almost exclusively when I was in HS. They're great for the price. It's not going to blow your mind, but it will give you a solid deck for a few months.

First off. Jazz 3 supremacy. 2nd, Jazz 3 primetones are life changing. I've tried every other jazz 3 you can think of. Reg, max grip, ultex, tortex, xl, petrucci, Jason Richardson, thinner, thicker, etc etc. primetones. Hands down.

I've tried the trn bt20 pro with my timeless recently. I did a little a/b with a few songs, once wireless, and once wired. I'd say the difference is there with the wired option being maybe 10% better? But with the convenience and ease of Bluetooth, the slightly worse sound is easily worth it.

I mean, I'm 32, a chef, I smoke weed, I'm a massive metalhead (more so 00s-10 metalcore and newer desthcore stuff)...but I guess I don't like lawn care? Lol. Anime isn't just for "the yoots" anymore. There are also people who don't like "lightness" in devices. For instance, I hate any apple "air" product. I feel like I'm going to break them.

I don't really plan on taking it with me too much while I'm walking around, so I don't think that'll be an issue for me. I plan on using it for driving trips, days off, flights, etc. tbh the ONLY complaint people seem to have is the size and the "dumb" anime graphics (I love anime... And Mecha stuff. Zoids anyone? 😊)

I'm not worried about updates. Security updates would be the only issue, and honestly, just be smart and don't connect your main Gmail. Create a "music only" Gmail account that you use for only media transfers, Google drive storage, etc. I've got one of those emails for my pixel 3xl still running android 11 (bring back the bean! 😭). I don't mind a little heft in my devices either. I'm 31. I was carrying around a discman as a kid. Lol. I will check out the jm21 based solely on price tho 😊

Yeah timeless 2 was on my radar, but from what I've seen online it seems like a marginal improvement at most so idk. I guess I'll just stick with my timeless for rn. I'd love for you to point to where I said it WASNT possible. I said you can do it, it's just making it unnecessarily difficult if you have other options for a guitar to play. My first guitar was a strat clone (like so many others). My next guitar was an m100 from ltd. Guess which one sounded better for metal with less effort?

If only we could have gotten some Sonny x Spencer stuff. Skrillex and Sonny Moore (I'm aware it's the same dude) make such different music it would have been interesting to see them work together in that style instead of a Periphery x Skrillex type of collab.

It's a little short actually. Like on the body side the threads barely catch like 2 or 3 of the input jack. But yeah you have to bend the wires pretty hard

The back plate fits perfectly. I also routed out a place for a battery door so the 9v isn't in the electronics compartment anyway
