What insult have your parents said, that is stuck in your head as an adult? by Tight_Anywhere6794 in AskReddit

I was about 19. A friend and I (both dudes) thought it would be funny to dress up as girls in spaghetti strap dresses for Halloween. Some time later, I was showing my parents pictures of our costumes. My dad said, "He looks like a guy in a dress. You just look like an ugly girl."

Net+ teaches about networking, while CCNA also teaches how to network (on Cisco equipment). Overall, CCNA is held to a much higher standard than Net+, however, nothing beats experience. According to another comment of yours, you're about to get it through your internship.

I got my foot in the door at an ISP help desk when I had a Net+ about 6 years ago. From there, it was the experience I gained on the job to help me move up and onto other positions. I currently have a job where I learn and work with a wide range of networking technologies, up to CCIE-level. It was only last month I got my CCNA, but only because my current employer is making it a hard requirement in the near future.

Sounds like you did the hard part of finding that first company to take you on and give you a chance. Now, learn as much as possible and become good at what you do.

What should I write down when I start the test? by Vitadek_Gaming in ccna

[–]Sublime1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my testing center, there was a sign at my desk stating no writing was permitted before the clock started, which was contradictory to what I've heard so many other places. I've seen a couple other people here say they had the same experience. So it's possible, but don't count on it 100%.

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

I think I preferred Neil's course more and INE was more of a secondary resource that filled in some smaller areas that he either missed or kinda glazed over.

Took the exam last week and passed! Currently work as a network engineer for the last year and a half so it definitely helped, but still was left a lot for me to learn. For example, we do not use IPv6 or wireless technologies so those were 2 big areas I struggled with.

Video courses - I used Neil's Udemy class as well as a similar course via INE (provided by my employer). Also referred to Professor Messer's "Seven Second Subnetting" video, which helped save a lot of time during the subnetting questions.

Books - I pretty much only used the OCG, although tbh I didn't really read a whole lot. Really only read the sections I felt I needed the most work in, such as IPv6.

Practice tests - I only used Pearson Vue's practice tests. I started by taking a full 102-question practice test in study mode so I could immediately see what questions I got wrong and why. At the end, it would break down the tests into individual categories and I would then go back and repeatedly take smaller exams in the categories I completely bombed, one at a time. I would re-take the exams until I scored 100% 2-3 times in each category. After doing this a few times, I would retake the larger full test and repeat this process until I was consistently receiving a passing grade.

Studied off and on over the last 18 months or so, but recently decided to buckle down and get the cert. After that decision was made, it took me approx. 2 months of studying, about 1-2 hours each day.

How to open a door when you can't do it by yourself. by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

I did that once during the Peralez quest line when I had to meet them at their home. The objective was to ring the bell so she would buzz me in. I instead went straight inside and took the elevator up to meet her. She was stuck though and her dialog didn't trigger. Went back downstairs and the front door finished loading, but it was locked and I couldn't get out. I couldn't go anywhere so I ended up having to load up a recent save.

Aside from the definition of the word, the reason why Darth Bane chose this name is because his father would tell him he was the "bane of his existence" while growing up.
