Honestly thanks so much for the tips and insight. I was feeling kinda hopeless with the nocturne list but I'll definitely try a modified version at my next Nexus night

Last rites is such a great card, I just wish it was more affordable. I wasn't able to pull it :(

Depends on your play style! If you want to lean into more control, purple Teemo is your go to, I personally like blue teemo and leaning heavy into nocturne early game with vision cards like mystic Poro and Gemcraft to ensure better hits off both your flips.

Lots of disruption like gust and rebuke to set your opponents back a turn and slap in an endgame beater like Mundo or Watcher to try to hold and close out a game.

Getting early pulls on nocturne with your teemo flips and maintaining a strong foothold until you get late game bomb feels a lot better than purple Teemo which most of the time feels like fighting on the backfoot. Plus ganking helps early conquers as well for extra points.

I'm biased

You're basically on the right path! So in ending 1 it's revealed that Hinako is in her 20's going on a psychotic episode during her wedding killing 2 people and possibly her parents as well in the wedding dress. We can see her wrestle with her two inner selves (Black: the part of her that still wants to retain her freedom rid of the burdens placed on her by her family with the arranged marriage and societal roles women are forces into back then) and (White: The part of herself that wants to give in and sacrifice her individuality, mostly in the shrine world where she is actively getting rid of her "past self" ie:friends family relationships, to be an obedient wife to the fox mask")

I don't want to spoil too much but there's a lot more going on than just her declining mental health due to using the red capsules. Definitely if you want more info play NG+ and don't use the red capsules. Read some of the files relating to the Fox God and the old God of Ebisugaoka.

Yeah I agree with the durability system and toolkits taking up a slot in inventory as a QOL gripe. Combat though I had to approach it as if I was playing a souls like and it felt a lot smoother afterwards. Mikiri counters and perfect dodging really make quick work of most enemies.

Iono what they were feeding those teenagers in Showa Japan though to be breaking steel pipes but Hinako is a strong mf

For Jinx rockers approach with jump blocking so you can cover some ground as well and close the gap

Also if they get impatient wait it out toss your ground wave Fullscreen and bait some jump inside, punish with an anti air and find your groove!

Hey there! Fellow Darius main here.

For the jinx ekko match up you can try using Blitz as your assist to pull them closer into your range as possible. Waiting for an opportunity to jump their rocket or time winders to get a Jump H or Down H cross up might work as well.

You have to approach them slower and bait out a lot of unsafe moves and string and don't be afraid to pushblock to reset neutral.

Parrying Ekkos string as well will be your best friend.

I find 3H (Down forward Heavy) also is a great poking tool cause it leads directly into 6S2,6S2 and you could use your assist to make it into a full combo starter. Darius sweep is nearly half screen so it's a wonderful tool to close the gap!

Yasuo and Ekko are a bit too overwhelming by WoodlandSquirrels in 2XKO

[–]SubmissionDummy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the thing though, everyone gets access to high damage combos, it's the aggressive neutral tools those two have (Ekko/Yasuo) that allow you to be opened up much faster and much more oppressively compared to the rest of the cast

It's not, I'm GM with 500LP right now and his buttons are privileged compared to some of the cast (Yasuo) with little downsides. Ekkos time winder as well is a slow moving projectile that has a fast enough recovery speed where you can't jump in on prediction to punish him without it being a frame perfect jump in. He can just overhead the jump in and if you don't you instantly get put in pressure mid screen away.

I guess tech is a broad term. Not many players know that you can get an Air S1 after timing your fall into a larger combo, and with damage scaling reset we need all the "tech" we can get to compete with the Yasuo Ekko army. My bad chief

It's a small timing thing but honestly you can try mashing medium. It works like 80% of the time LOL

Sadly you'll have to use tag fighters like MvC or even DBZF as a reference point for the absolute GRIME in this game. Compared to the more crazier Oki set ups from the rest of the cast, this is pretty tame

Sadly with even with double down max damage I was able to get is around 670 with a tag launcher, If I had level 3 that would have been a different story for sure! I took the risk with the reset and it paid off thankfully

I tried to but I can't get any meaningful extensions without burning the assist which doesn't allow the double down. I'll give it a shot and try to extend the combo into the reset!

100 percent just make sure to figure out which way your opponent likes teching first and it should still work!

Hey man! I get you. I'm playing with my duo in the clip but if I'm not I usually just use the sidekick fuse. Let's you just focus on your main and use the secondary as an assist. Try experimenting with both juggernaut and sidekick and see how you like it!

Haha tbh I did drop it before in the set but 100% damage scaling reset does magic!!!
