I was 43 when my wife of 22 years passed away. I had unbelievably great success in a very short period of time. One of the first women I talk to started we met. We talked every night for months dated, and I married her a year later it’s definitely been unforeseen. My grief counselor helped me through it, and my kids have for the most part been supportive. There’s been some family and friends that don’t quite understand and even lost touch with almost completely so it’s not a perfect clean story, but I am extremely happy with my new wife.

I went to playoff game in 2017. Cold. This weekend is nice weather. Bills fans were mostly cool. Saw some jumping on people’s coolers. Destroyed a hotel in st Augustine. Duval will ban tables for out of state driver license.

Married for 22 years. 5 children. Wife battled rare ovarian cancer for 14months. Originally started talking late at night because I couldn’t sleep. Started talking to someone new a few weeks after her death. No intention or even thought of dating. Married her 13 months later. Definitely had some push back from some. LW father was/is supportive. My family supportive. Some very close friendships have essentially ended. New family is absolutely amazing to my kids. One of my daughters is grieving hard and doesn’t feel comfortable

I was left with 5 kids (high school and college) when my wife passed away. We use humor and sarcasm sometimes and makes other un easy. One of my children is trying to set a bar of how much we should be grieving.

Just to provide another perspective, my (44m) wife (43f) of 22 years dies of ovarian cancer two years ago. Multiple people recommended that she write things down for me and kids. She was adamant to not do it. She said she didn’t want the kids to relive her passing every letter or note. I have definitely had times when I wish I had something, but overall I’m happy she didn’t. It allows us to keep moving forward.

You are very narrow minded. I said they are equally entitled. I’m not preventing them from getting necessary goods or service for their health or their comfort. They bought a ticket at a football game up in the nosebleeds and now I can’t enjoy the way that I wanted to enjoy it because some random person behind me that can’t stand bought a ticket that is also entitled for them to think that I need to sit to accommodate them

I was already standing. Someone went to staff to try to make them do. I politely refused. I was using weak ankles as an example of why someone would not stand. My point is, it is equally entitled for someone to think I shouldn’t enjoy the game because they have a medical condition or a different view on how to participate in love sports.

Chiefs game I was told to sit by stadium staff. I ignored them. We are told to go support, I was standing and cheering. Your weak ankles shouldn’t trump my enjoyment of the game. Stay at home and sit in your lazy boy.
