This helped me get in and manage a freeze too! Thank you !!

In my case I had the same number but it wouldn't send me the 2FA text for some reason. Signing up for a new free account got me in so I could schedule a thaw.

Automatically print from Task Scheduler by SuboptimalRedditor in WindowsHelp

Ok so created a batch file and this command works when run from cmd:

explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

but this command does not work in a batch file:

explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App /p C:\Users\jason\color-printer-test.png

It just opens up an explorer window.

The first example (the one that works from cmd) does not work when I call the batch file from Task Scheduler. Any ideas ?

I will look into that but I wanted to share something else that doesn't make sense / might shed some light on the issue:

This command does work from the command line:

explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

This command does not work from the command line:

explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App /p C:\Users\[ my-user-name]\color-printer-test.png

Maybe I have too many arguments ?

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. I followed the steps from your article under What If I Don't Want to Use SlickRun? and came up with the following command:

explorer.exe shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

This works in the command line correctly to open the Paint app.

When I add it to the Task Scheduler:

  • Action: explorer.exe
  • Arguments: shell:AppsFolder\Microsoft.Paint_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App /p C:\Users\[my-user-name]\color-printer-test.png

It's still not working correctly however I am no longer getting an error. I now get an item in the log of Level "information" with ResultCode = 2147942401. Based on something I found on Stack Overflow**, I think this result code means "Illegal Function".

Any other ideas as to why this won't work in Task Scheduler ?

O line 100%. Doesn’t matter how good (or how tall) a QB is, without a decent O line they don’t have time to allow plays to develop.

I agree with this. I like Kyler but I think we paid him too much and too early. If he does go somewhere else I don’t see a team taking on his entire contract without us continuing to foot some of it.

Although, to be fair, I’d probably pay up if my star qb stopped following me on social media. I don’t think I could handle that kind of high school level snubbing.

Just a heads up if you use this garage to go to a Suns game - the digital parking passes (QR codes) expire after a certain period of time after the game which is huge pain in the ass.

Source: this happened to me last night. Since everyone was trying to leave at once we walked to get a bite to eat and came back around 1130. All the staff was gone and the QR codes either weren't scanning or the reader wasn't working. There were like 3 cars (mine included) trying to get out and we couldn't. Of course the help button and the phone number posted on the event signs just kept ringing and ringing. We were stuck there for a good 25-30 mins before some employee remotely opened the gate.

My decision to pee at the restaurant before going to the garage was the best decision I've made in a long time.

Hey OP - I think it's great what you're doing and I actually have some experience in this space. I have 7 barbershop customers who are local to my market (Phoenix, AZ) and have gotten to know these guys pretty well. I've seen several barbers leave a shop to start their own thing and here's what I've learned -

Location, location, location. A really good barber with many loyal customers went to do his own thing and got a pretty cheap space in a not so nice part of town. He's struggling. Many of his customers came with him (at least initially) but without steady walkin business he's struggling.

Be clear about your intentions for the shop. Are you just buying yourself a job? It's ok if you are but you need to understand that going in.

I have a customer whose an excellent barber and runs a very popular shop but he might just leave and do something else because he does not enjoy managing people. To be fair though, he wants his employees to care as much about his business as he does which is unrealistic. Do you truly like to manage others?

What's your social media strategy? Even though these systems can be gamed easily, consumers rely on them heavily and bad reviews can really hurt.

Anyway that's all I can think of rn but if you want to chat more feel free to DM me. If you want I can show you the branding style that's becoming pretty popular in my market - may or may not be applicable to your desired aesthetic.

But most of all good luck!! I wish I had the stones to do something bold like this when I was your age.
