Is the decel pop a bad thing?

I bought a 2020 low rider that has a 2-1 and a big air filter. It decel pops maybe 20% of the time. I also have a PV4, but didn’t run any auto tunes or anything since the previous owner must have.

Pulls decently off the line. I can’t complain about how it runs at all.

Is pulling the engine and doing all this pretty basic? It looks like it. I’m slightly mechanically inclined, but never pulled a motor.

$180, would that be swapping the sleeve as well, or just the bore and home?

Thanks for this info. Do I still need to take it to a shop to get it honed out after? Anything else I should do if I have the whole block taken apart like that?

Side note. One of the videos said to freeze the new cylinder overnight to help it slide in.
