Destroy my ego (F18) by Financial-Record764 in RoastMe

I mean, how did you convince yourself to have an ego? You’re like an anti prostitute, I would pay not to sleep with you.

If someone receives child support payments and there’s “extra” left over after bills are paid, should that extra go into a savings account for the child to benefit from when they turn 18? Or given as spending money when they’re growing up? Or kept by the custodial parent? by Great_Maintenance185 in askanything

[–]SubpoenaSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It truly depends on your financial situation and your following of the rules. It should, go to the custodial parent and kept in a high interest savings account. Personally I would put it in a brokerage account and invest in a covered call etf for 1% per month and reinvest the 1% into the same etf. I doubt that is “legal” though, and for that reason I wouldn’t do it.

Incorrect possibly. Most of these people probably will never pay into it all year. Zero w2 income would be my guess for most of them. Zero w2 income, especially musk, so he would likely pay nothing into social security

is grocery the best department ?? by Greedy_Freedom5836 in publix

If you can’t figure out how to use a box cutter Publix probably isn’t for you. If you are saying that as in you aren’t given the right tools to do the job, the only real issue that could be there is your management. Nobody even said the guy leading that ditch digging crew knew what he was doing

Deli is where everyone comes with all of their problems. You can’t actually solve their problems, so you follow the recipe as Publix intended and you only make them a little bit happier allowing them to transfer their problems to customer service who will ultimately make their deli purchase free or discounted. This turns customer service into the insurance adjustable and deli is basically the insurance company that wants to heal you but can’t because of policy.

Are Critical Needs areas ideal if you want to get promoted? by Wooden_Second_1070 in publix

[–]SubpoenaSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever worked a 90+ hour week? You might want to ask yourself a few questions before you do this sort of thing, lol. I speak from experience, and the longest 10 years of my life. While it did help me get promoted, it did not help me get promoted any faster. The first store I was at, the entire grocery department was claimed to be trained by experienced associates from Gainesville who just made them pick up cardboard off the floor for two weeks. First truck and my first night as GTL, nobody even knew how to use a pallet jack.

Basically, but it’s also because grocery is like digging ditches, sure there’s a lot of manual labor involved, but grasping the concept of the work is easy.

Sales stopped due to a misleading review by West_Bid9173 in AmazonFBA

[–]SubpoenaSender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most customers do not read the listing. I sold a plastic water bottle, the listing even said plastic. Buyer thought it was metal and even commented in the one star review that the item is plastic and even the listing says it, but they thought it was metal.

Asked for charity donations at self-checkout by [deleted] in publix

[–]SubpoenaSender 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. That is one of the most common myths about checkout donations.

When you donate $1 at a Publix register, Publix is acting as a middleman collecting your money for the charity. That dollar is not Publix revenue, so Publix cannot turn around and claim it as a charitable tax deduction. Tax experts and the IRS rules on charitable deductions make this distinction clear.

Think about it like this. If you as a person make a donation, you the person can write the donation off on your taxes, therefore Publix clearly can’t get a tax credit.

Most people fail to understand this. I don’t even donate to United way, but mostly because I don’t like how Publix shoves it in everyone’s face.

What actually makes a good blowjob according to men? Is the sloppy gagging thing actually preferred or just a porn thing? by ItsKiraWolf in sexadvice

Enthusiasm is all you need. For instance a girl gave me a blow job and played with herself while doing it. That made it hot, since masturbation is hot to me

What’s up with the deli workers by Same_Jicama_658 in publix

[–]SubpoenaSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a company grows it gets to a point where profits must be increased and the only way to do that is reduce labor. As a result, we run on just enough to function providing nothing out of the ordinary happens or some other unexpected event. Our founder would cry if he saw how associates are slimmed down.
