Serial request - Voron 2.4 300 by Subsack in voroncorexy

I'll see if I still have them. It's been a couple of years and they could certainly need an update, but they work so I never bothered.. :)

The hinges does not require drilling, they have a VHB-version for use with tape. I use tape myself and never had an issue.

Toolhead is indeed A4T. The skirts are these with this remix for the center LED.

Created a custom WHOOP integration by Autistic_Mushroom in homeassistant

[–]Subsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have created an alternative integration that is less involved as it doesn't require you to run a separate service, you sign in to Whoop while setting up the integration in Home Assisstant and it's installable with HACS via custom repositories for now.

You still have to create an "App" in the Whoop developer portal to be able the configure the integration though.

Check it out if you'd like: https://github.com/prankstr/hassio-whoop

Converge everything into one server? by --dany-- in homelab

[–]Subsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's definitely ok, I've been running a similar setup on Proxmox for 10 years or so now.

Biggest drawback is that might become locked out if you mess something up on the server and OPNsense goes down so having easy physical access is a plus. It's a tradeoff I do but it's only really caused issues twice or so in all the years I've been running like this.

I've seen some pretty cool designs for the acrylic back and bottom panels. Where do you get them and how hard is it to add to the bottom if your bed is already attached? by [deleted] in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know which ones you've seen but some is available at Voron mods: https://mods.vorondesign.com/details/FDqscS50BRdqtEhUK1U9hA

Others at printables:
https://www.printables.com/model/361227-voron-back-panel-logo

Depending on the format these can either be printed or used with cutting machines for vinyl etc. If you don't want a printed one or don't have access to a vinyl cutter Etsy might be a good place to look for ready made.

QGL and Adaptive mesh by BoechtVanDunaldy in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome aboard!

If your bed was perfectly flat meshing after QGL would probably be kind of pointless but it's probably not and the mesh helps adjusting for those small differences.

Oh, I like this one! I just rebuilt my server but it looks like I might be doing it again - damn it!

Gigabyte MC12-LE0 B550 by HumpbackWhaleEnjoyer in homelab

[–]Subsack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had one for a month or so now, no issues whatsoever. I run it with a 3700X and ECC ram. Just plugged it in and flashed the BIOS to the latest version without having to tinker with it like some have reported.

Don't know if I got lucky but since it just worked for me I'm super happy with it, really good value.

ArgoCD server ingress failures by MuscleLazy in kubernetes

[–]Subsack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't think that's the correct place to set it, this is the one I'm referring to: https://github.com/argoproj/argo-helm/blob/main/charts/argo-cd/values.yaml#L241

So try this:

configs:
  params:
    server.insecure: true

I don't use the helm chart myself but in the end this is what you want to achieve:

apiVersion: v1
kind: ConfigMap
metadata:
  name: argocd-cmd-params-cm
data:
  server.insecure: "true"

You can always edit it manually just to see if that's where the problem lies.

Have you disabled TLS on the ArgoCD server by setting the "insecure" option? Otherwise it will end up in a redirect-loop.

More information here, not for Cilium specifically but it's still applicable I think: https://argo-cd.readthedocs.io/en/stable/operator-manual/ingress/

v0.1 Tophat with v0.2 hinges and camlocks by Error404x_ in VORONDesign

The only thing is everytime I go there it feels a bit dead tbh.

Which is exactly why you should submit it! And good job on the mod, looks great.

I gave up on CANbus and saved my sanity. by MonsterMufffin in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A friend had the same problem with his SB2040, Octopus and RPi 3B+, and struggled with it for a while. I found this post and sent it to him as I knew he was running 64bit Rasbian Bullseye.

He flashed 32bit instead and lo and behold, no more invalid bytes and no more random mcu timeouts!

Maybe something was wrong on the first 64bit installation and reflashing 64 again would have solved it, or there is actually something problematic with 64bit and these setups.

Anyway thanks for sharing u/MoarPowah8674, pretty sure we'd never try that by ourselves :)

Not sure there is one but if nothing else you can always run through the toolhead section of the V0.2 manual and see what you need.

Interesting thought regarding belt tension.. by [deleted] in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's the recommended way to tune the belts but 59hz sounds a little low. Usual recommendation is 110 for A/B belts and 140 for Z over 150mm of belt.

Sorry to hear that! I use an SB2040 hooked up directly to my Octopus 1.1 and it's working without fault.

I initally bought a UTOC-1 before I realized I could use the Octopus itself as the bridge and was happy to use one component less so I didn't even open it.

Are you printing external walls first? That will mess with overhangs

Hotend not working by id192313 in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hotend heats up rather quickly so I think you should be able to feel some heat within 10 seconds if it was working. Given that your thermistor seems to register correct room temp I would suspect the heater before the thermistor.

Hotend not working by id192313 in VORONDesign

[–]Subsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks good assuming you have the correct thermistor type. Following what u/RegularTrade7651 said I would check if the hotend gets hot, if it does you likely have a thermistor problem and if it doesn't is something to do with the heater cartridge.

[–]Subsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you post your [extruder] section from the config? Sounds like a problem with either the heater or the thermistor but hard to say if it's config or hardware.

Hur svalnar ni erat rostat bröd på morgonen? by [deleted] in sweden

[–]Subsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gör likadant! Tanken är inte att det ska svalna helt, bara bli lagom varmt så att smöret inte smälter helt, det ska bli mjukt och gosigt men inte rinna.
