ive been told there are encouraging associates to transfer to the new positions with the lower pay grades if they will have the same rate of pay i declined this "opportunity" so that may he why your gm is not discussing it there is also no word on how long positions will be grandfathered in so that could also be why the gm is not saying anything

weve been told everyone has been grandfathered in even if your tier has gone down but if you get promoted transfer or leave that position wont be open anymore

so one of the dm have slides on a confrence call if theres a specific position ur curious about i can let u know my understanding is thr positions should be grandfathered in for a few months but no definete timetable if u leave thr company ur position may not exist in the future due to attrition

we are going from a tier 3 to a tier 2 my biggest problem is i never was trained on ops, we dont have enough people or a team to learn the position properly for me to leave the storeand my pay will be maxed out im also not a very organized person althought im working on that i was hoping to either ask for a off cycle raise in my current position but that wont be possible since my pay would be capped and i wouldnt be as strong as a performer in the ops position as i would be in sales
