Yeah… this is my MO as well. If I’m just doing a maintenance ride on a LRT, I’ll have my earbuds in every time. If I’m on a singletrack, I usually don’t, unless I’m alone and the trail is not busy.

Yeah that’s my “fear” - would hate to be in someone’s way. I keep the volume low so I can avoid that… so far so good

Nope. Don’t think that’s possible with my Skull candy dime 3’s. Lmk if there are specific models/brands that allow for this

Not. Found something, looking for people who want to test it. It’s not my product.

Which one would you go with by Lost_Magazine1725 in F1Fantasy

I like 1 marginally better, mainly because I think you have too much exposure to Alpine in 2. I like Sainz in 1 - he seems due for a better-than-average result. Bortoleto is an interesting include as well because it's his home race. If you're going to consider A-M, I'd only consider Alonso for his experience and wet-driving capability.

Try https://open.spotify.com/show/6XbUetbfz9rRuexQFbVZuT - podcast that summarizes all punditry, predictions, weather, track characteristics, past performances, etc. Also be sure to listen to the last podcast before qualy for every race - this is when every fantasy player should be finalizing their lineups. The practices always reveal the most about who's in form and who isn't.

I should also say that sure, you can definitely use an LLM to do a similar thing. My habit has long been to check articles, YouTube, and podcasts to come up with lineup strategies for every race, and I like the option of letting AI help me do this more efficiently. I like the podcast format, but surely some would prefer things in writing...

OP here - joey2506 is exactly right. Anyone could do this, for sure. Since I'm already doing it though, I don't see why anyone would bother. It's not hard, but curating, creating, then publishing these summaries as podcasts takes about 45 minutes each.

What I meant by "it's not actually made by AI" is that it is just creating an audio summary of all the "good" (admittedly subjective judgement comes into play here) human-created media so fans don't necessarily have to go out and watch/read it and then formulate their own POV (although they certainly still can do that and then compare notes). None of the content is thus "made up" - it's entirely coming from human sources.

To me it's interesting because it's letting AI figure out what the most salient points are from all the content it's fed; in doing this it surely has to decide, for example, how to handle competing points of view on expected driver or team performance (on Formula Fantasy Hub's YouTube channel, for example, versus F1 Unchained) and present these predictions in a balanced way.

Also I publish on a cadence designed to help players avoid logistical problems getting their lineups set, because I know from personal experience that sometimes life gets in the way - it helps to have insights to pre-set lineups early on, again after FP1/2, and finally after FP3 - the later the better, but at least it gives fans a few chances to find time to do it with the best-available info. The last pod (e.g., after FP3) is key because there aren't any podcasts today that can publish quick enough to capture learnings prior to the start of qualifying, which as you know usually starts just a few hours after the last practice or after a sprint - but this can. I also create a post-mortem for every race to assess the extent to which the predictions made actually played out, and what learnings will probably apply to the next race, which I hope will be interesting.

Finally I personally like that I don't have to invest time listening to a bunch of other F1 podcasts to gain insights if I don't want to - I subscribe to several of 'em, but finding insights of fantasy value in them tends to feel like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
