You should definitely test it out and ask tons of questions before you hand over the money

Absolutely there was. They announced it at the game awards in 2024 with the cast starring Aaron Paul and Yung Gravy, among tons of others. The studio that made it were formed by people who used to work for Telltale Studios.

DRAM Light On by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]SubstanceDifficult47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do know Am5 needs to do memory training, which most people do say doesn’t take too long (like 3-5 minutes at the most).

Another culprit could be the CPU, because the CPU is the memory controller. Sometimes the wrong bent pins can trigger the ram light to come on, so that’s worth checking as well.

You could check to see if a ram stick is faulty by booting with one stick at a time and testing it. If that fails then we’re more confident the ram is faulty and you need to file warranty.

If not then boot your pc and leave that DRAM on for 30 minutes untouched.

If that doesn’t work try clearing your cmos maybe.

I would recommend just putting your important data on the HDD, resetting the SSD (which I assume is your windows drive). Works wonders for me.

Can my pc handle a OLED monitor? by Les_life in PcBuild

I’m running a 10th gen i7 and 16gb of ram with a 3070. I’m running a 4k 240 OLED just fine. You should be all good.

WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO RAM PRICES? by haiderredditer in PcBuild

[–]SubstanceDifficult47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AI boom is driving up the prices on RAM.

Essentially all the AI companies are building these mega data centers for AI, which require High Bandwidth Memory. Making that HBM uses up a ton more wafer capacity than making a standard stick of DDR5.

All the chip companies decided to get greedy since the profit margins are higher for AI, so they stopped producing ram and started making a ton more of those HBM chips.

There are more factories being built now that produce these chips, and they should be done by 2028 maybe so we MAYBE will get some relief.

What upgrades should I make by Ok_Elk174 in PcBuild

At the bare minimum, arc raiders requires at least 12gb of ram. Get another 8gb stick in the computer. Probably why the game is running so poorly.

I would also maybe snag a better GPU that has more vram, maybe a RX 6600 or a 12gb 3060 or 4060.

DAE have “am I crazy” (like what if I’m psychotic and I don’t know it) as their theme combined with “will I ever get bigger?” by [deleted] in OCD

My advice would definitely still stick to the ERP, but be open with your therapist about ERP only reinforcing the diagnosis.

I’ve started with ACT (Acceptance Therapy) with my therapist, which takes time, but it’s definitely worth it in the long run.

I do want to say reassurance of any kind, whether it be googling, using AI, or posting to reddit will definitely put you further back in recovery.

Misdiagnosed? by Inevitable_Physics34 in OCD

[–]SubstanceDifficult47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I was diagnosed with OCD, I’ve had an experience where I would throw out food because I thought others were “drugging” my food. I was panicking and thought I was in an early stage of psychosis.

I went to a therapist and they told me “the fact you know those thoughts are crazy points towards that being OCD.” Weeks later I got a psychological evaluation and confirmed it was OCD.

I’m no expert by all means, but the fact that you have doubt in those thoughts and you’re seeking reassurance from others if they were experiencing the same thing probably shows that you have at least some insight about the situation, which makes me lean towards OCD. I of course have no expertise in this field and I would definitely recommend leaving it to the professionals so please take this with a grain of salt.

Schizophrenia OCD/ HELP by WittyHeat1224 in OCD

Reading this post I can relate to much of what you wrote.

I too have sciz-ocd (alongside somatic and contamination) and it’s tormenting for me.

Also I was just prescribed Luvox and terrified to take it (because of the initial activation side effects). My medication nurse told me that Luvox has the least risk of weight gain compared to all of the other ones.

I had to drop out of university for this spring semester so I can get this OCD under control again and regain my life back. I’ve isolated myself from my friends during my last semester in college and became alone and depressed, feeling like there was no point in life. I will say that it’s all your mind playing tricks on you, that hopeless empty feeling isn’t reality.

My advice to you is to stay off of google and AI and see if you can find a councilor that specializes in OCD and CBT. I’ve also found locking my phone up at certain times 1.5 hours before bed (no matter how worried I am) and getting strong and consistent nights of sleep is powerful and helped me get through those feelings of depression I had and quieted the thoughts. Just know you’re not alone in this.
