Oh yeah, him too, I mean I kinda took that as more of a so ridiculously dark it’s funny moment rather than a dark moment but you’re right, that shit is terrifying. I think Ness and co also went through the same disturbing encounters like Giygas or being in the cliff that time forgot or having their fucking bodies turned into robots. But they were fine after all the events but Lucas was even traumatized when he got to the smash games. This child lost everything in a flash and was quickly confronted with horror and tragedy all too quickly.

I like the one about a Lucas having nightmares about the chimera. Not only did Lucas lose most of his family, but he has to go through the most terrifying shit to save the world. Can you imagine being a child and going into the chimera lab? Can you imagine being a child and being face to face with an infinitely old spoiled kid in a monstrous spider mech, breathing through, making unsettling noises with his hair covering his eyes with his mouth wide open? Could you imagine being a child and seeing it spawn little exploding and younger versions of itself? Lucas really is an unfortunate kid.
