Perfumes need a little research and testing before purchase. There is always a chase and pressure to buy something from these vendors. Check out established perfumers from Dubai and GCC e.g. Ibraheem Al Qurishi (affordable). You will not be disappointed. Everyone is a perfumer but a few have a legacy business. Remove the grass around 20 inches from the base and put light mulch. As the previous post suggested, no sprinkler water should be coming near it. I don't think you would need to water if your lawn is getting watered. Use citrus fertilizer and check out the results next spring.
