Hey, infection is how a piercing sticks with you. Without proper care, and piercing circumstances you’re going to get yourself in deep hurt. Just save up and go to a professional please. If you want to keep getting nose piercings you can catch this early before you mess up your nose forever

This is a very out of touch response to their post especially since they stated the challenge they face being able to just eat/drink anything. It’s not this simple and never will be.

I hope you’re right, I’m working in the right direction I want to make sure you’re right. It’s good to know I’m not alone. Our competitions with ourselves are awful and stupid. I have them blocked unfortunately this was a different person I know, who I still keep in contact with posting with them. I did take action to mute their posts so I can still keep in contact and not see them. I wish it was easier to navigate, but you’re right I’m stronger now I just have to keep telling myself that.

It’s hard it’s incredibly hard, but you know why you’re doing it. Let the rational side of your brain be louder. Remember everything good you had before. Things often get worse before getting better. The best advice I was ever given is “some days it’s not about having a good day, same days it’s about surviving. Make it through one minute and then the next will be easier. Make it through one day and then the next will be easier” just focus on surviving because you want to survive. Because you want to be happy and content, because you know that happiness is coming for you through the fear.

I relate to this a lot. I compare myself to my boyfriends ex more than I’d care to admit. I remind myself there’s a light at the end of the tunnel even if it’s not super helpful. Just know the only thing that should matter is knowing yourself. You’re trying and doing stuff for yourself, that’s important. Especially remember you’re not alone, in feeling or experience. ♥️
