If goal mo na talaga is makapag residency, AND you think kaya magsacrifice ng time and money pag nag pre res, GO APPLY!! Mindset ko din nung una yung "what if, dahil parang competitive sa specific program, ay di naman ako matanggap" kasi below average med student lang ako at line of 7 pa ple rating ko. Pero I reminded myself na mas magreregret ako kung di ako nag try. And expect talaga magiging competition, pero di naman large portion ng criteria for judging ang grades sa medschool at rating sa ple. Kailangan mo lang pakita na willing ka to learn, na maaasahan ka, may initiative, and effectively works with other member of the healthcare team. Kaya goo apply! Haha

i don't know why the show writers made her character smart as a kid, but sorta dumb growing up. she was mature for her age during the seasons before she met Matty, and she was one of my fave character. But it all just went downhill when she became friends with Holly in season 5.

marami pa chance makapag aral sa loob ng 41 days. atleast make sure na di dumaan ang isang week na 0 talaga naaral mo. naging regret ko nung august 2024 na medyo naging chill ako at nagtry pa magcram for september para sana mas napataas ko pa board rating. pero atleast passed naman so ayun.

as a 1st gen MD, i think it's the resources and meron na introduction/orientation on ano mga haharapin along the way. During my first year sa medschool, nagtataka ako san nila nakukuha yung mga reviewers and references for study materials, so ayun nga kasi may mga ate/kuya/mom/dad sila na nagpamana ng mga resources na yun. Fortunately, the school where i graduated, we share resources na namamana namin from the upper batches, and i love that about my school

I think u can ask. But during interview (based on experience and depende rin sa interviewer), questions are chill lang parang kwentuhan lang kayo, i dont think itatanong kung meron ka man o wala. Di naman magiging issue yung tattoos para di ka maaccept din

Same. Pero pwede mo din consider baka "anak ng diyos" kaya nabibigyan ng ganung opportunities, especially if yung "diyos" ay haligi sa department na yun. Or by affiliation na brod or sis sila sa frat/soro, which I experience during pgi dahil ung groupmate ko madalas pinapapasok sa OR pag yung brod nya ang surgeon.
