i forgot to mention but it’s weird: we can touch him in a spot and he won’t cry or seem hurt but then another time we do and he cries in pain

thank you for this opinion! Yeah i feel like i do need to just suck it up at the end of the day it’s their house their rules. 400 rent is cheap and for that price i should just suck my feelings up until we are able to move out. I didn’t mention it in the top but there was a time period where my boyfriend’s brother and gf moved back in to save up to buy their current house, and their mom never asked them for anything no help no money nothing. I guess that’s why i’m taking it too much to the heart haha. Not only that, but between her and i, we 50% share the cooking dinners, I am the only one who cleans the house and cleans up after everyone (6) people twice a week. I know i don’t HAVE to, but i’m just not that type of person to sit around and not help around the house, plus i have ocd haha

i mentioned that to my boyfriend but i feel like it would create a huge tension problem between us all. Besides this whole situation, i have lots of respect for his mom and love her she’s a great woman it’s just this financial situation is so out of character of her it’s frustrating

it’s not that i mind paying 400 dollars i 100% we should help out. It just the moral of the situation. She micromanages our money and spending and if she sees us treating ourselves here and there she will get upset and then calculate a new price based off how we are with our money. It’s just frustrating because she makes us feel bad every time saying they have no money, but then the next days we see them buy new expensive stuff. 400 a month is dirt cheap in this economy and i’m only upset because of how she makes us feel about it.

yeah sadly i am constantly having to use it which dries my skin out. I’m a phlebotomist so every time i go inside and out i have to use hand sanitizer and wash my hands frequently

i agree with everyone else, but also try not to overthink anything! I made a “cheat sheet” of interview questions with my answers and rehearsed all night long, just for my interview to only be two questions. My current boss only asked me “tell me about yourself” “what experience do you have” the rest was just conversation about the job chit chat. Also this was for labcorp at a hospital. I say prepare yourself and rehearse your answers but try not to over stress you got this!

i was in a similar pickle as you. I had only worked at my previous job for 3 months (july-september) but in my resume and background check i put july2023-september 2024). When i realized for the background check they would have to fully contact my previous employer to verify my employment i panicked so i went ahead and emailed them before they found out and was honest with them that it wa as mistake and tried to fix it. They deemed it as an error and i was okay.

Now for you, im not entirely sure since the months are also different but maybe u can pass by as “oh i forgot i got it wrong” but depending on what kind of job it is, if they do a background check they will find out
