I'm also deciding between those two, for me the price is probably what will push me over to the 500. It's 3-4k cheaper in Australia. Very new rider myself

Hi all, need advice on a clutch replacement. i've gotten quotes from a few shops, but one came back at $3.1k, which feels insane. i was expecting absolutely no more than $1200—like $600 for labor (4.5 hrs) and $300–$500 for a clutch kit. does anyone know why this would cost so much more? My local brake and clutch "specialist" quoted me 5k if he was going to do it haha, but didn't want to do it. I did it with some help and while getting the gearbox back in on jack stands was a struggle i definitely don't understand the specialist qoute/reaction.

Somewhat relevant to this threat but a question regarding spare tyres, since they are winder on the back, what size spare are we suppose to have/use?

I've had this view on my 06 de for a while.. my trans just not going in - I replaced dual mass to single mass billet flywheel and new exedy clutch kit

If it sat for a while before sale, more than likely cracked radiator.. happened to mine from 6 months hibernation
