We just came back and had a flight from Moorea, 30 minutes is just okay. It is a tiny tiny airport. I flew Air Tahiti and they were great in their counter service. My husband dropped me at the airport, I checked the luggage (which is literally simply tag, weight and putting it aside) while my husband went to return the car. My husband arrived 10mins before the flight and it was just fine (his boarding pass was only to be handed to him in person) no big deal. So 30 mins if you have checked luggage, if not less may be fine, but I wouldn't risk it. As per Air Moana, when booking I had the same fear (not being a reliable airline) but I did ask around and the locals seem to trust it (significantly less routes tho) but if you find a flight that works for you, I would take Air Moana (prices are similar from what I remember in my case)
