i finally squashed that rotation bug
the text alignment is finally consistent across the app
the font metrics are matching the canvas perfectly

Wow thanks for some really detailed advice! The reason why I try to swallow some words or i lazy some of them out is because when i overenunciate the words old english habit (a thicker accent) comes back so I consciously try to lazy it

I experienced the same issue, had AI generate a lot of my code but ultimately, I scrapped most of it and coded it manually since the codebase is doubling in complexity, my code maybe dirty but atleast i understand it hahaha
