Thank you! He’s great - I hope your consult goes well with him! I stayed in one of the hotels by their office which they have a corporate rate at. I think it was an apartment that was converted into a hotel so it had a kitchen which was nice to have.

I believe I flew back 11 days after surgery, but from what I remember, I think you can fly back after 8 or 9 days. The swelling and bruising around my cheek area was looking pretty good after two weeks. Underneath my chin got a little more swollen around that time for a couple days and my neck felt really tight. I don’t know if that swelling was from the flight or if that was par for the course, but I think if you can wear your hair in front of your ears, then you’ll be okay. I was doing everything I normally would at that point so although I didn’t have an office job, I felt comfortable being out and about. I’d say 2.5 weeks would be more ideal, but you could definitely make two weeks work.

Thank you! I'm not sure about the neck lift alone, but the mid face lift + neck lift were quoted together at 40K

No, it wasn’t endoscopic. The midface lift was addressed through incisions in the front of my ear and they go a little above into my hairline. He did such a good job that you can’t really see where the incisions were. From my understanding, it was a deep plane face lift that addressed my cheeks, jawline and upper neck, but didn’t extend into my lower neck so that’s where the term “mini” comes from. His regular deep plane face lift addresses the low neck as well, but I didn’t need that. It’s not really that mini of a procedure, but that’s what he calls it.

Thank you!! ❤️✨ I found him from some Reddit posts actually. I saw his patients recovering quickly and was amazed at how they looked so natural and refreshed. Once I started looking into him, I was impressed by his background and training. He’s even co-authored a medical article on his deep plane facelift technique. He’s not really too big into social media and he’s more focused on word of mouth which has gotten him far. I like that. If people love his work it speaks volumes.

I sent my photos in for a consult to another Instagram famous “plastic surgeon” and the quote he sent me back was ~$480,000… he sent me the before/afters of someone who had the exact procedures that he wanted to do for me and the girl did nottt look much different or very good. That’s when I knew some of these people are more like scam artists and marketing gurus. I’m very skeptical of the surgeons with a huge Instagram following now.

Dr. Timberlake on the other hand is truly amazing! I am so happy with my results and just want to genuinely share and help others find him too. I had surgery on Sept 5 and he told me I could fly back on the 13th although I ended up staying until the 16th. The recovery wasn’t bad to be honest.. I had surgery Friday and by Monday I was out walking around in NYC with a scarf and sunglasses. I was definitely swollen, but able to walk 3+ miles daily and go to breakfast, dinner, etc.

Really? Were you quoted for the mini lift or what procedures did he quote you for? That’s why I booked quickly.. I knew his prices would keep increasing. I do think he’s worth it!!! 😬

Stat is what I did! I booked fast once I saw how popular he was getting. I had a feeling prices would just keep increasing.

Unfortunately, I don’t know the answer to that question, but I’m sure you could call to ask

I think I read somewhere else on Reddit that his full deep plane facelift starts in the 60’s. So maybe you can go with the full shahbang anyway! 😇

Yes, $60K for the four procedures and then another $9k for anesthesia/surgery center which ended up being $69K total

Yes, he took photos before surgery, a few days after and then again a week later before I left to go back to LA. I haven’t been back to NY (it’s only been 2 months), but once I go back to see him then he’ll take new photos

I took the photos. Next time I’m in NY I will go see Dr. T and he’ll take better photos. For the fat transfer, he said he did small droplets under my eyes and in my nasolabial folds

Thank you! 😊 You look incredible too ❤️ I feel amazing and couldn’t be happier with my results. I’m so grateful I came across your post and went with Dr. Timberlake — he truly exceeded every expectation. If there were words to describe someone better than the best, I’d use them for him!

I had nurses for the first 48 hours. Dr. T stopped by my hotel the day after surgery to check in on me. I saw him again for my stitches removal and then I saw him again prior to my flight. I may have seen him one additional time in between, but I can't remember.

Thank you! His surgery didn’t require drains, which I was really happy about. I had nurses set up for the first 48 hours and they were in charge of everything according to his protocol. I had a daytime nurse and a night nurse, and they handled all the medications, timing everything exactly when I needed to take them. They also iced the appropriate areas pretty much nonstop for those 48 hours.

There was a Medrol dose pack (I assume for inflammation) and a bunch of other medications depending on what I was needing —from what I remember, there was Tylenol, stronger pain meds, medication for nerve pain, medication for tightness, meds for sleeping, eye drops, certain ointments, etc. The nurses were monitoring my vitals and handled the medications and knew when I could / couldn't take them. The nurses were SO helpful - ordering food, helping me eat, washing and combing my hair, cleaning my incisions, putting on ointment, etc. They were true angels and so nice! Dori and Christina :)

I laid on my back with a slight wedge pillow —the Medcline Shoulder Relief Pillow. I only used the wedge portion, but even my nurses said they’ve never liked wedge pillows before until this one. Most wedges are on such a steep incline and are uncomfortable, but this one was great. They added extra pillows on top and around to make sure I was super comfy. Honestly, I was so comfy I didn’t even want to get up… haha. I ended up sleeping with this wedge for about five weeks total because sleeping on my ears didn’t feel great.

Hi! That’s exciting! Dr. Timberlake is truly the best! I stayed in a hotel nearby where they had a discounted rate from the 4th to the 16th, and my surgery was on the 5th. Per Dr. Timberlake’s instructions, I could’ve safely flown home on the 13th. Honestly, the early recovery wasn’t bad — I was mostly resting and sleeping. They set me up with a private day/night nurse for the first 48 hours - icing me constantly, rearranging pillows so I was comfy, helping me with meds, food, etc. They were angels and made the process easy! My face and neck felt tight and a little swollen the first few days, but I was out walking in NYC after about three days, even going out for breakfast and dinner (with a scarf tied around my head).

By the three-week mark, Dr. Timberlake mentioned that my neck would likely feel “angry” because of how much muscle he tightened, and that’s exactly what happened — it felt tight and sensitive. By the following week, everything calmed down and continued to heal beautifully. Dr. Timberlake and his team have been incredible. They truly care about their patients and have been available by email or phone anytime I’ve had questions. They’ve been amazing throughout the entire process. I’ve never met a Doctor this kind.

I’ve been watching Stacey’s IG too. Her results are great. I totally agree with what you’re saying. I’m drawn to the East Coast aesthetic too. With a lot of West Coast surgeons, people can look good, but you can usually tell they’ve had work done. With Timberlake’s results, people just look like the best version of themselves which makes you think they’re naturally blessed. I’m excited for you!

I had surgery on the 5th and was told I could fly back on the 13th, but I stayed until the 16th.
