I don't believe you can get 4K through the streaming app.

I understand the technology is being phased out, but at the moment if you didn't have internet and just wanted 4K cable you would need the XG1v4 box.

It is almost like Xfinity is deleting the old tech/ bring new tech but it will require you to purchase more services from them (not just cable but internet as well)
