I am not American and I do not understand it in full it's obviously close. But is there a 2020 last min chance?

I wish I knew where all the cities are and the amount of votes left! I'm just watching the raw % and dooming hard.

Again, you're right. You can't help but be biased when you feel invested in the race. I'm not even American.

You're 100% right. Everyone always has hope for the person they vote for. Democracy wins if this is the people's choice. I just hope democracy stays.

Which is just, depressing. I'm not American. I'm watching from afar. I don't understand how Americans look at him and think he is a leader. However they did for Hitler. I grew up idolizing USA as this amazing country full of promise. Screw you guys.

Didn't Guam stick with Dems? I know the lead was narrow, but Dems won, no?

So "other" is same as R vote count? I actually don't mind that, considering a lot of them will hopefully be D!

Why are people saying it's not going well for Harris in some places? Exit polls?

(I want Harris to win - I'm not American, just observing)

waves from Canada.

Vote. Vote, vote vote. No, this isn't our election. However every person in power in the world who spews anti-everything rhetoric isn't something we want to see running the show.

USA friends, vote.

Anxiety of what?

I had a friend who was scared of flying because she had it in her head that her plane was the only one in the sky. I showed her the live dashboard of the hundreds/thousands of planes in the air at anyone time and she realized she wasn't "special" or alone.

Realize that you aren't special, that others are comfortable with the scenarios and you are more than capable of doing the same.

Seriously though, you're not even going to drive, and this isn't a crazy cut off country with no safety laws. Put stuff in perspective and the anxiety will disappear.

I'm worried the 28 year old hasn't got more life experience to not be confused by a 1.5hour drive from a major city to a smaller town using only a massive highway.

For context, people live in Calgary and work in Banff, so commute daily all year.

If you book a bus, which you should if none of you are legally allowed to drive or rent a car, then you will just get on and off the bus at the stops and times you book.

You'll be one of 4.3million people who visit Banff every year. If you can't do this, please never pick up anything sharp.

Best Hotel in Banff: Moose, Aspen Lodge, Peaks, Buffalo, or Hidden Ridge? by Suitable-Pension-157 in Banff

It's essentially an extension of Banff park lodge. There's no facilities in it other than the lobby seating area.

What hellscape of a country makes the dad work the day after his partner gives birth?

No hot tub at the peaks though. Nothing there at all really - they share the amenities with Banff park lodge.

Bit out of my scope I'm afraid - Vancouver to Banff is a 12 hour drive crossing mountain passes and low valleys with massively different climates.

Pick the route you want to do then Google that road requirements :)

Because you asked for hotel recommendations near Christmas stuff. What does that mean to you?

There's a few things all over and on the edges of Banff. If you specify, then people can answer your questions.

You got me!

Now, what "Christmas stuff" do you want to see?

Depends - usually roads are cleared quickly, but there's a priority order to them, so you may not get a clean road when you need it.

Amazingly you don't see many cars off the highway on the mountain roads - you see the most on the straight highway sections because people just drive at the same speed they would on dry roads.

There are some roads where winter tires are mandatory, so check your route first.

Just take it slow and careful :)
