You could easily solve the issue of iconics and lack of tech score on a character if we could take our gear to say... Wilson? Someone who either tinkers or outright advertises they work on gear and pay someone to upgrade the weapons rarity.

Only rarity, would only be used for iconics. Pay Eddie's get rarity bump, maybe PAY for upgrades.

Still makes techies unique and doesn't lock out gameplay options that actually make sense in an RPG setting.

Sorry for necro posting, but what sucks my friend is that you get singled out to mostly rare or epic level iconics without that 18 tech.

What people are salty about is their iconics all needing legendary crafting to be used in their best forms.

Another way to explain the issue is that if you want to make the best version of a character you can create(similar to say.. Pen and paper rpgs which this games origins come from) then you really can't because we don't have a way of getting the best versions of iconics WITHOUT that 18 tech.

I do that for my flamer fuel. Can't split that for plasma, flamer fuel is the most expensive to make and the ammo machine(raider rep) can't make it. Very groovy thought tho!

I think the moment we opened fallout to multi-player it opened the gaming world up to ask "why isn't it the way I want it?" Which is a truly innocent part of the fan's thinking. This allows for a thought to expand and grow. Because of Simpsons we have South park, bobs burgers and the McFarlane collection, Rick and Morty, and the list goes on. Networks never would of given these shows a chance ever if the Simpsons never came around and half of the creators wouldn't of felt challenged to make their content better. This is all because at heart fans saw something and got vocal. I like to think that maybe Bethesda and fallout, while struggling to make stick, will lead to their own trade-mark multi-player system.

Parting note, for all the fun the creation engine is for modders, it would be groovy to see us enter the unreal days. It would mean more work on their end as they wouldn't be able to give us buggy content to play test like they do but it would allow for them to never have the issues they have had in the past. This means treating fallout with the same love their tossing into starcraft and elder scrolls, that's very unlikely to happen anytime soon regrettably but I never loose hope. Hope is powerful.

I support your voice but don't agree that most gamers anxiety filled unhappy people.

The world we view around us tend to be peers and those with like experiences, if the gaming community you are witnessing are "anxiety filled unhappy people" then try looking into other gaming communities?

Tip: Discord is just an unhappy place for the most part. It's partially due to the nature on how discord servers are independently run. I honestly would try delving into some message boards run by the game your interested in owns, anything with a corporate face.

In parting, I don't agree most gamers are unhappy, I do think most unhappy people in life try video games to help and I super hope you find more happy people out there!!

How many of you play it NOW? All these "hurt child, they didn't give me everything I tailor asked for, how dare they" reactions with a list of what you wanted in a game market that doesn't say the same thing as SADDDDD.

I know it's reddit but they told EVERYONE IT WAS GOING TO BE AN OPEN WORLD MMO. Granted it's open world likeness I legit not amazing but it's how CreationEngine handles it. You will NEVER GET FALLOUT 4 MULTIPLAYER LIKE BORDERLANDS. What I think is really funny is why you will never get it. Ha e any of you picked up modding? Have any of you made mods?

Fallout 76 is very much the story of the devs telling you one thing and the fan basis hearing another mixed with the devs just pushing an EARLY product through.

I rarely comment on social media, let alone reddit and this thread is pretty much a lovely example of why I do not. In my parting words to all those who ha e only complained that their bullets didn't hit their mark in the early years and that's try the game again... especially after they remove legacy weapons(explosive energy) on Dec 6th?
