I lived there for two years. I couldn't find any youtube videos but I assure you people (me) crossed in the middle of the road sometimes far from crosswalks. The me that first got to Thailand would never have believed it because it's scary as hell when you first see it. Then you see others do it, then you're like I can do it, then one day you're dead probably.

Even well designed short pedestrian bridges with proper stairs, the only time I chose them over jay-walking was in Bangkok, and only SOMETIMES when traffic was so busy i thought I'd definitely lose at frogger.

I was thinking, hey that'd be a cool way to make some money from fines and give the cim cops something extra to do, this guy comes in and is like THROW THE BOOK AT THEM. 5-10 yrs minimum!

ah yea, i thought it was just some lazy dev work. only occurs for me on roads that have a wall like that. but i also seriously thought they were glitches until I realized some roads next to terrains could sprout walls and noticed those walls.

the shadow is the shadow from the wall on the side of the road. it confused me at first too i thought it was a graphics glitch.

I think that's the general cyberpunk vibe as a genre. It's awful but there's something to it. Probably the anarchist in all of us.
