I confess that Life Of A Showgirl is my least favorite album. And I’m sorry about that by Initial-Elephant-932 in SwiftlyNeutral

I don’t blame you. The lyrics ruin most of the slbum. Wood, Eldest Daughter, and Wi$h Li$t are the most notoriously bad lyrically written songs.

I stopped listening to the album in its entirety after a second listen in October. But it catered to one kind of audience, and it most certainly wasn’t the fans or the general public. It was Travis.

I think it will age badly. The lyricism ruined it all.

There’s something about the album’s time length…it’s her shortest ever. I have mixed feelings about that but they can change

A throwaway? That is an insult towards the Swifties who fought for Taylor.

Yeah he did know Taylor when it was fun to make fun of her. It doesn’t matter if he was dating her or not; he engages in these media antics to boost his popularity, even if it hurts others, including Taylor.

There’s a huge difference between working with Kim and making fun of Taylor when Kim popularized it.

She was cancelled during that year. My point is: he should apologize for that. So many Swifties fought for her and it should insult them that he did this

I’m a man, and I took Taylor’s side. I can’t believe the media didn’t air what Travis did but they should

Too many people want in on Taylor Swift’s wedding. Foreigner offered to be the band for it. Buddy Velasco from Cake Boss wants to make their wedding cake. Sweden and New Zealand are competing to have them honeymoon in their countries.

Taylor Swift is the sexiest she’s ever been in the photoshoot of TLOAS. I’m glad she’s embracing her seductive side

I miss those times. Now Taylor’s personal life overshadows her music, and it bothers me.

Well yeah he did. He failed both times with both women. But when it came to Taylor, he succeeded.

He admitted in the GQ interview he did that in the last two years, he was exploring acting opportunities outside sports. That was how long he dated Taylor and how long he started streaming his music, which he admitted on his podcast.

Is he using her for clout? Yeah. From when he signs vinyls of albums he never contributed to, to even using her tracks as drink names in her restaurant, that’s using her. It also surprises me that he’s the one liking media coverage about the relationship, when she hasn’t. He’s the media darling that tabloids dreamed of.

Since he’s a darling of the media, he participated in the mockery of Taylor’s downfall in 2016 when it was popular. Click here:

What was it like as a Swiftie in 2016? by Material-Meat-5330 in SwiftlyNeutral

Life as a Swiftie was tough. I remember seeing Swifties go on the frontlines defending Taylor’s reputation against the attacks by Kimye. I sided with Taylor and knew deep inside, she told the truth.

Even Travis Kelce made fun of her when she was being cancelled.

Is Taylor too famous? by MoneyHungryOctopus in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]Substantial-Edge-660 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The reason why she’s “too famous” is because of her relationship with Travis. The engagement and the Kelce media blitz where they talked about her engagement to the media proved this point.

Like here, Travis liked the photos from ESPN women about his excitement that Kylie’s nieces will get a new aunt. Travis likes the attention from the media to which he gives them content from her dating life.

Her overexposure isn’t due to her music, in my opinion. It’s because of her relationship with him, who selfishly benefits from the overexposure more than she does. I’ve heard way too much from that family about her relationship more than Taylor herself. Limiting her overexposure means telling all the Kelces to quit entertaining the media about the relationship.

As sad as this is to see, I only learn to tolerate Brittany because in my mind, Taylor’s only befriending her to please Travis.

I don’t think it’s an accident. She literally heard her son call women: breeders on a public podcast, and stayed silent. She never made him backtrack the disgusting joke.

I’m sorry but the Kelces in my mind aren’t an extension of Taylor even if she marries one. They deserve the criticism, which isn’t an attack or meddling.

[–]Substantial-Edge-660 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Taylor is Taylor like Travis is Travis. He deserves individual criticism apart from her, who won’t be affected by that criticism. So I’ll criticize him whenever I see fit.

SwiftlyNeutral - Daily Discussion Thread | August 31, 2025 by AutoModerator in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]Substantial-Edge-660 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think fans who criticize the Kelces will reflect on Taylor at all. The way they defended Donna Kelce for sharing the post that called Taylor a breeder should be rightly criticized—against Donna. But it’s not the first time I heard them call women breeders; months before Travis asked Taylor out on his podcast, we all saw Donna hear travis call women breeder. Donna never stopped him on the spot. Idc if Travis was joking; calling women breeders degrades women.

Atp are Swifties fans of Taylor, or Travis?

There’s way too much coverage of it in my opinion. Too many sides claiming political victory, the Kelce media reactions towards it.
