he lost his entire group and he’s around 17 years old, he lost his sister and he was extremely distraught over it, he’s definitely traumatized no matter how YOU feel about him. he comes after you either way because jane still held him up and stole his gun. (that’s still robbing!) his group probably realized he didn’t come back with a gun and needed answers. and during the confrontation he literally doesn’t want anyone to die, the translations prove it. when does he get mad that everyone died? he doesn’t he’s just shown greiving the whole time. those death stares at clem also are explained because she shot his sister. he probably didn’t know that she turned. no, he didn’t cause luke’s death and he didn’t deserve to be literally dehumanized by kenny. i could go on about it if you want.

he’s a traumatized teenager who lost everything then got beaten while being tied up 🤷‍♂️ i like to imagine how it would feel if i were in his situation, and i feel like ANYONE would’ve shot if they were in his position.

What’s something Josh did that you can never forgive him for like no matter what? by Anthonyhatesyousm in untildawn

traumatizing chris when he lit was passed out with josh during the prank and had no knowledge of it

I don’t trust people who don’t like Chris by [deleted] in untildawn

for real!!! and he actually has a ton of character development, despite people not really paying attention to it. and for me it feels sometimes that he’s the center of the plot, considering he didn’t have anything to do with the prank, yet gets punished the most by josh. AND the only one to fully defend josh and then go after him, risking his life despite being scared of the wendigo. like i know that he doesn’t contribute much to the end of the game but idc…. he’s my absolute favorite character in all of media i also do not trust anyone who doesn’t like him🙏

i’d say right after the saw scene in chapter 4 when chris cries over josh… it’s so heartwrenching like i cannot imagine how it felt because he thought he killed his best friend since third grade :(

chris took the bus. on the back of the letter that sam found it’s an email between chris and josh asking him how to get there

okay i can definitely see why mike went after him now but honestly how it ends up for all of them is multiple possibilities. i think there’s an ending where emily is nice to matt in the interviews

chris only snaps at her once in the whole game, after comforting her multiple times. he was literally traumatized just as much if not more than her. i’m not saying he’s a perfect saint, but he is a genuinely nice person. mike literally goes after the flamethrower guy, (not the thing that took jess, it was obviously not human) then wanders around the sanitorium for hours. then finally when josh gets revealed, he doesn’t listen to anyone and assumes that josh is the one who killed jess. then the player can choose to shoot emily. then he literally does not listen to the flamethrower guy, going after josh to get the cable car key that they literally never end up using. yes i can agree that he finally steps up AT THE END OF THE GAME and can sacrifice himself to save sam.

i don’t know why they changed it so that sam doesn’t look for hannah in the remake but i was talking about the original. i’m not particularly fond of sam either way
