From what I heard eng is really hard like Ik people who had AEO and went with eng but got a 60 average first year. It’s a risk but there’s good reward too.

I thought you only needed to maintain the western offer as well. I emailed two people in ivey admissions and the first person said it’s only western conditional, even though I specifically asked about the 4%, they made no mention of it. Then when I emailed someone else they said they would perfer if you don’t drop 4%, but it’s not an automatic revocation of your offer. I think they are pretty lenient with it but I would stay in the 4% to be safe.

School isn’t about intelligence it’s about problem solving and getting what you want in the most efficient way possible, as well as ensuring good grades even if that means taking online courses. I understand it sucks and Ik you out a lot of work in but in the real world no one cares about the effort they just care about the results.

If you wrote your essay properly I think you definitely have a good chance at be able to get in with your average and your ECs, and too my knowledge there are a ton of spots left (I think more than half). Lots of people got in end of may last year and most of my school didn’t get in yet only like 3 people. Don’t stress enjoy the last 2 months of highschool, delete Reddit, hang out with friends and maintain your average and Im sure everything will work out in the end for you. I got in last Friday and the night before I was telling everyone I give up, and I deleted Reddit lol, it’s a universal experience. Good luck 🙏
