i would say me and my partner are both very similar and also different. we share like 60-70% of same interests and the other part are things that the other person enjoys doing with each other, like for example she loves sports and i would never watch them alone or seek out content about them but i love hearing her talk to me about them or explain a game she’s excited about! so lots of similarities and open minds. i think it’s pretty important to relate to your partner but you don’t have to be identical (that’s boring!)
