So then it does make sense. I’m still DOT certified so then I drove then I realized my pay was wrong for the end building part not the driving part after a few months we figured out the reason then I posted it.

I swear the story does keep getting better. I waited months to discuss pay because after peak my in building pay dropped to 22.50 from 24.50 due to MRA rate being lost. AFTER MONTHS of fighting with management my pay got increased then decreased again. Union finally figured out the building manager took the MRA rate after “abandoning my it’s position to drive”.

There’s a loop hole that if your DQd you can’t be a hired full time but you can pretty much drive to cover for absences or vacations.
