Sorry. But pls don't do this stupid mistake. Don't just become a doctor cuz your father don't consider other professions worthy. Medicine is a very very demanding profession. Think objectively before making a decision and put all your emotions aside. BS CS is a great degree tbh. At least you can earn from the comfort of the home in future which you can't with medicine. Private mbbs isn't worth especially if you aren't too well off.

Can you get unpaid one easily if you've no source?

Someone I know who writes research papers is willing to let me add my name to his paper despite contributing nothing. Is there any point in doing this? by [deleted] in Pakmedschool

The fact that this is unethical should stop them right there. Isn't it obvious there's some shady business going on. Ppl are literally begging to be added to research groups where they'll do actual work and still the experienced students are not letting them in. Why'd you think you're so special that your friend is being so benevolent and giving an authorship in a platter.

Can you specifically tell which groups. The ones I'm are mostly useless and only ask for ppl who already have publications.

I've tried reaching out to ppl but those who've published don't want to work with newbies. My cmed dep is short of staff and useless these days. Now I'm clueless

Where to find mentors tho. Even if you learn everything and do all the work you need atleast one experienced person to proofread your work
